31/05/2025: Food was alright for the rest of the group, but I had a very bad experience with the steak. Initially, the waiter mixed up my order and brought another type of steak whose quantity was lower than what I requested. I had no problem with that as mistakes of this kind happen. The bigger problem was when he brought the correct steak, which I clearly requested to be medium-rare. That was at best, medium-well, if not well done. Even more concerning is that the waiter refused to take any responsibility, in the first instance he was accusing me that I ordered the other one, and in the second instance he was again suggesting that I actually ordered medium-well. The overall service experience was bad.

25/05/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and the experience, overall, was positive. The interior is very well-kept, with an elegant location and an intimate atmosphere that contributes to making the stay pleasant. The à la carte menu is interesting, with well-studied proposals that combine simple ingredients in creative preparations. We ordered two first courses and two second courses. The gnocchi with wild garlic pesto and hazelnuts turned out to be a very well-balanced dish, with a successful and original combination of flavors. The risotto alla monzese, offered off the menu, was good but not exceptional. Unfortunately, the second courses were not as convincing. The cutlets appeared excessively fatty and not very tasty, accompanied by soft and tasteless fried potatoes and a tortello of breadcrumbs and eggs that was definitely avoidable. A positive note came from the dessert: the tonka bean cream was pleasant and well-made. The service was discreet but the bill was a bit high for what we ate. Even with some room for improvement, especially on the main courses, the overall experience was still satisfactory.

09/05/2025: A sparse menu of proposals that are presented to you framed in a picture: 3 starters, 5 first courses and 3 second courses, poor ingredients but at excessive prices. We took a very salty Cacio e pepe, we couldn't finish it and a very hard rice with cheese (I felt like I was eating the rice or the pasta with cheese that my mother prepared for me as a child... they adorn the dishes by decanting them but basically they are made with cheap ingredients. They use to recycle the leftover bread from the tables from the day before to make other bread by kneading it again, appreciable but questionable if you want to be a chic restaurant, especially when in the end they also bring you the "slipper" by collecting the bottom of the pot, when the very kind waitress explained it to us I thought: "my God, is he serious?". The bill was not a surprise given the premises. I attach it here to give you an idea.

11/06/2025: I am referring to the business lunch, which I found rather disappointing both for the quality of the food and for the approximate service. The overall experience was not satisfactory and I did not feel at ease.

09/06/2025: Leaving the confusion of the places on Lake Iseo we looked for a quiet and convenient place to the highway, we couldn't have made a better choice! Even though it was almost 2 pm and we had our 4-legged friend with us (which we announced in the phone call) the owner welcomed us with kindness and courtesy and a small welcome appetizer, reserving a quiet place for us. Since the casoncelli were finished, but given the time it was understandable, I ate some really tasty pumpkin sweets. But not only that. I would like to point out that for lunch on weekdays there is a fixed price menu.

09/06/2025: Discovered by chance (motorcycle ride). It is located inside the Borgo... Typical place of an old inn, welcoming. I had tortelli with melted butter, polenta and cheese....spectacular. Very affordable prices. I will definitely return with a group of friends.

03/06/2025: We had lunch here before catching a bus to the airport at the central station. It’s only about a 5-minute walk. The food was fantastic, the best we had in Milan! The prices are quite reasonable, and the service is excellent. They were so nice to accommodate us as we showed up a bit early. The owner even came out and chatted with us. Highly recommended!

21/05/2025: Fuimos a cenar dos veces porque su pasta es deliciosa. Mi marido tenía su pasta Scialatielli con mariscos mezclados dos veces. Tomé sus tortellones y lasaña de marisco. También comimos sus mejillones en sopa marinara. La sopa fue increíble! Recogí cada gota. La salsa de los Scialatielli es divina. Usamos pan para recoger toda la salsa, no podemos dejar que se desperdicie comida deliciosa. El interior es muy bonito y cómodo y el servicio es genial! Si estás en la zona de la estación central, recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante. Me aseguraré de volver la próxima vez que esté en Milán.
