The restaurant has a beautiful environment and the dining area overlooks the elegant garden view, which fully demonstrates the experience of the five senses. In terms of food, each dish is brilliant, rich in layers, and highlights the advantages of the ingredients. The seafood, including octopus and fish, are particularly well handled. Especially the fish, which is similar to the "steamed fish" cooking method in Chinese Cantonese cuisine. It is tender and smooth while retaining the freshness of the fish meat. Every bite touches the taste buds. In terms of wine pairing, the sommelier is very professional and the recommended wine is excellent, which matches the dishes perfectly. The service is impeccable, professional, polite, attentive, and comfortable. In general, the three-star honor is well deserved.

04/07/2025: It's a pity that when I came, they were on holiday in SICILY😅 I tried cannolo in another place - it's a very tasty dessert. Crispy wafer with a filling of cold ricotta with powdered sugar and all sorts of additions (candied oranges, chocolate drops).

26/06/2025: It was beyond what I expected. I had the sea bass with grilled veggies and it was cooked to perfection! Also the staff were lovely.

26/06/2025: Not expecting the best seafood risotto I can remember. It was spectacular. Served piping hot almost bubbling with perfectly seasoned rice and seafood. Don’t miss this underpriced spot . Service excellent.

12/07/2025: Easily my favorite spot in Argegno. Have spent time here two years in a row now and so looked forward to going back to Bistro Argegno this year. The food and wine are always excellent, service is warm and friendly. Prices are more than reasonable (coming from the US). The staff has great suggestions for the rest of Lake Como and are very personable. The location is just outside the piazza and very peaceful. Whenever you’re in Argegno, make sure to stop by!

15/07/2025: I booked dinner and an overnight stay for my partner's birthday, and she stayed—in fact, we were delighted. The place is special, seemingly frozen in time, with ivy everywhere, a quiet courtyard filled with plants and aromatic herbs. The rooms are furnished with a beautiful mix of vintage and modern pieces, simply yet functionally. Dinner was perfect; it's cool here even on a July evening; the atmosphere is quiet, suitable for couples of all ages. The service was friendly and pleasant, with reasonable waiting times; everything was vegan, tasty, and original, right down to the dessert. After the night, another beautiful moment of timeless relaxation awaited us with breakfast under the pergola, featuring fresh homemade products, including the fantastic baked cherries and apple pancakes. Thank you, Davide and Maria, for your hospitality and kindness!

The inn's owners are incredibly kind and gentle, and they have a natural ability to make their hosts feel at ease. The food is simply extraordinary: spending a night at the inn, I dined outside in the garden, immersed in a relaxed atmosphere, transported by exquisite dishes, full of sophisticated flavors and always prepared with love and passion. The room I stayed in was very welcoming, clean, cool, and quiet (a dream for someone from the city like me). In the morning, when I woke up, I was also lucky enough to try their exceptional breakfast: many exquisite homemade desserts (from cakes to brioches and pancakes), accompanied by coffee and other delicious beverages. It was a rejuvenating experience in every way. Thanks again, see you next time!
