02/03/2026: For several years now, we've been frequenting this delightful restaurant in the Sempione area of ​​Milan. We've often enjoyed its menus for our Christmas lunch or spent pleasant seafood evenings there, and it has never disappointed. The other evening was one of these evenings, celebrating a birthday. The menu had been agreed upon, and we had a wonderful time. We began with a mixed appetizer served in scallops, all truly remarkable for the choice of ingredients and the presentation and flavor of the dishes. The shrimp lollipop was also very original. For our first courses, we were served ravioli and a crepe, both made with seafood, which were delicious. We concluded our tasting with an excellent fried fish. After a sorbet, we were served a truly remarkable fruit cake, and then we finished with a delicious myrtle liqueur and coffee. It was all accompanied by a Sicilian wine whose name I don't remember, but it was truly remarkable. The overall rating is clearly more than positive; this place never disappoints. If you love seafood, it's definitely one of the places I highly recommend in Milan. It's a very refined place, not overly glamorous in its ambiance, but a pleasant place to have a conversation. The service is truly superb, friendly, never over the top, and perfect. A very positive thing for those with celiac disease is that practically every dish can be served to people with celiac disease. The price is absolutely reasonable for what you get and clearly in line with the city of Milan and the area. But I want to reiterate that what we really like is the quality of the ingredients and the way the dishes are presented; you can tell there's a lot of in-depth research behind it. In conclusion, an absolutely unmissable place for seafood lovers, highly recommended.

22/09/2025: Valtellina cuisine isn't suited to Mediterranean stomachs. The venison was well-cooked, the wine drinkable, the service friendly, and the pine forest all around. Aurelio, the innkeeper, even lent us the key to Don Guanella's house, now a museum, so we could visit. Very kind people, a wonderful experience. It's a shame it will all be over in a few days...

21/03/2026: My partner and I have been frequenting this takeout pizzeria for over a month and are truly satisfied! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Our favorite pizzas are the salsiccia e friarielli and the Valtellina: both delicious and always well-topped with quality ingredients. The dough is truly exceptional, light and easily digestible, but above all, it doesn't leave that annoying feeling of heaviness after eating. Fair prices. Highly recommended.

10/02/2026: A restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking Lake Iseo, offering a fantastic view. We had lunch with a group of friends, and the warm day allowed us to dine al fresco. The atmosphere is relaxing and very welcoming. The menu features lake fish, carefully prepared using top-quality ingredients. The wine list is excellent, perfect for accompanying your meal. The staff is knowledgeable, although, in our opinion, they were limited in their ability to express their opinions. Recommended.

The price was decidedly excessive: €20 for a pizza and a small beer at lunchtime seems out of line, especially considering the quality. At the cashier, I was also told that my card payment had failed. Luckily, I checked, because the problem was simply a jammed receipt; otherwise, I would have paid twice, exceeding €40. An unpleasant and superficial situation. It was my first time here, on the recommendation of several friends who frequent the place often, but my experience was disappointing. Personally, I don't feel comfortable recommending it, and I'll try to understand why so many of my acquaintances manage to go there.

04/03/2026: Farmacia dei Sani is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Castellanza. It can no longer be called an osteria (as its historic sign says), both for its attentive and professional service (like a high-end restaurant), its table setting (white tablecloths and glasses suitable for fine wines), and, above all, its prices (all dishes average around €18-20 per course). In short, if you're looking for an excellent restaurant with medium-high prices that are still proportionate to the quality of the offerings, this is the place!

16/02/2026: This was our second visit to this restaurant. I must say my husband and I had a truly wonderful time. The food was excellent, made with quality ingredients. The color combinations in the dishes were also beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dining room was warm and welcoming, with a fireplace. The wines were perfect. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.
