We were lucky enough to receive an experience at Burro as a gift. We entered hesitantly due to the unique dishes offered.... but we left certain that we would return....

Truly a journey that amazed me. The venue is both modern and historic at the same time. The only slightly negative note is the wine, in which I didn't find consistency from glass to glass, but I understand that's not predictable. Well done, well done, well done.

Excellent tasting lunch. I personally chose the vegetarian menu, and it was superb, but judging by the looks of the other diners, the seafood and meat tasting menus were also really good.

Back for a business dinner. I'd already appreciated their excellent cuisine and refined dishes, but this latest experience was even better than the previous ones, as I ate some truly delicious dishes.

16/04/2026: Always very welcoming, excellent pizza, and very good food. In the summer, you can eat in the beautiful internal garden.
14/04/2026: I'm truly thrilled with the quality of this place, where courtesy and good food reign supreme. The staff is friendly, well-coordinated, fast, kind, and patient. The food: we had two very good first courses (linguine with clams) and two whole-wheat flatbread pizzas that I can describe as excellent in every way (taste, lightness, and appearance). Finally, we also had desserts: flan, semifreddo, and tiramisu, all of which were also very good. I think the bill was fair given the quality, just over €100 including house wine (excellent) and soft drinks. We'll be back because, even though it's a bit far from where we live, it's worth it. Finally, and in closing, the place is welcoming and well-kept, as well as clean; I really appreciated the table linens and the way they set the table. Perhaps the restrooms could use some updating, but in all seriousness, I can say that the rooms are also charming and welcoming.

Villa Martinelli

13/04/2026: We chose Villa Martinelli because we fell in love with the place. The gardens are beautiful, as are the interiors. The library is a little treasure. Michela, Giovanni, Ennio, and the entire staff were extremely kind, professional, and capable. They accommodated us without any problem, even with various menu changes due to intolerances, allergies, and ethical choices. We trusted them completely, and everything went perfectly! A wonderful day! The garden is marvelous, the wisteria has started to bloom and provided a beautiful backdrop!
11/04/2026: It's almost been a year since our big day... What can I say... a thank you would be an understatement... We can't thank you enough for everything you did for us. It was a fantastic day, full of emotions. I managed not to cry that day, but every time I think about it and look at the photos, I cry with joy and happiness. Thank you for your professionalism, kindness, availability, dedication, and for all the precious advice you gave us. Not everyone can do that. And I really appreciate that, and so does my husband. I wish you all the best, and we hope to return for an event or a meal to remember that fantastic day. Thanks to all the staff, especially Giovanni, who gave us invaluable advice (and was like a beacon in the middle of the sea), but I don't exclude anyone, like the Maitre d', and everyone who worked so collaboratively for us 🤍 Even though there were some unexpected events or things didn't go according to plan, it was an unforgettable day.
