Dinner for two Very welcoming atmosphere Good service, friendly staff. An intriguing selection of entrées. The French wine (Côte du Rhône), which was recommended to us, was very good. Interesting fusion pairings in the dishes. The choice of various tasting menus is excellent, allowing you to fully enjoy the dishes expertly prepared by the Chef. The presentation of the dishes is truly meticulous. Definitely recommended for a relaxing dinner during a stay at La Perla Del Rosa.

🎙️ New stop on Telecronaca Gourmet: today we're at Soltojo Experience in Macugnaga. This recently opened restaurant is elegant and quaint. Seats are limited, so reservations are recommended. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and provides detailed explanations of each course, showcasing the kitchen's work. We chose the Terra tasting menu: a well-designed menu, with the duck undoubtedly taking the MVP title of the evening. The prices are above average, but consistent with the quality of the menu and the experience offered. I've been to this restaurant, which has only been open for 20 days, and I had a great time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location is small, but beautiful and welcoming. What can I say about the food? Excellent and well-executed. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it.

I rarely give restaurants 5 stars, but here I can't help but do so. Let's get straight to the only minor flaws: the length of time (about 4 hours for dinner) and the wine list, which—according to the waitress—is currently a bit sparse due to supply issues. We ate countless entrees, all delicious and very unique, with bold and very distinctive flavors, all meticulously crafted and presented with undoubtedly exceptional professionalism and beauty. I had the five-course fish menu: two appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert. All the dishes were tastefully presented, with meticulous attention to detail, and with spectacular flavors. The portions weren't huge, but between the entrees and the many other tastings between the various courses, you'll leave feeling full. The table setting was also very attractive. My compliments to the chef, and a huge compliment to the waiters as well: their professionalism and kindness were second to none. The price was absolutely affordable for what we were offered (we paid €65 each). A place to return to every month because the menu changes monthly.

A wonderful surprise, even more exquisite. Recently opened, Soltojo in Macugnaga will become an essential stop during our stays at the foot of Monte Rosa! For those who enjoy Japanese cuisine, Soltojo offers refined dishes that expertly blend local flavors with those of the Land of the Rising Sun. The wine list is constantly evolving, but there's no shortage of pairings. The presentation of the dishes is captivating; the eyes, too, deserve their share. A triumph of beauty and deliciousness. We'll be back!

I tried two or three times before I managed to get a table, as the place is rightfully limited and very popular (especially on Fridays and Saturdays). But the wait of over a week was more than worth it. We dined here on Saturday evening and were delighted. The fusion menu is extraordinary: from the entrée to every subsequent course, every dish was sublime. I opted for the meat menu recommended by Chef Giovanni Caracciolo and found it delicious in every shape and form. The finale was masterful: a chestnut mousse on gianduja cream, with a mint leaf that perfectly enhanced the flavors. The staff was always extremely kind, attentive, and thoughtful. A touch of great style was the warm napkin/handwashing cloth served at the end to clean your hands. The location is warm and welcoming, accompanied by perfectly fitting fusion music in the background. Given the level of service and cuisine, I expected a significantly higher bill; however, the value for money is excellent. I'm extremely pleased to have discovered this quality spot in Macugnaga.
