25/04/2025: This restaurant has changed and not for the better. They now secretly add a tip to your bill between 10% and 20% without telling you even though we were tipping them on every visit. We have been visiting this restaurant for years but will not return. I urge you to check your bill for the word 'mancia' which is a tip they have added without your permission. This should not be allowed and is complete deception. They will trick you with 'free' cheap prosecco and limoncello in an effort to distract you from looking at your bill. Absolutely shocking from a restaurant that was once managed and run so well. Do not be fooled by their 'friendly' manner. They should hold their heads in shame.

24/04/2025: Where is Giovanni? We have been eating in this restaurant for the past 3 years, when we visit Rome, and I have always given them 5 stars and recommended to everyone. No more recommendations as they will rip you off. We have eaten here for 6 days this week and have tipped generously every time. For the last 3 nights, we have noticed an additional tip (mancia) added to the bill, which totalled 20%, 20% and 10% above and beyond the generous tips we already gave them. They will distract you with 'free' prosecco and limoncello, put the bill in front of you for seconds and then expect you to pay without reading the bill properly. To accept a tip after already adding a tip to your bill, without telling you, is disgraceful. Absolutely disgusting that a restaurant in central Rome treats their 'loyal' customers in this manner. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be ripped off because, trust me, they will. Check your bill for the word mancia. Never again will we eat in this restaurant.

The food was exceptional, the service and waiters were excellent and most of all it is very good value! 5/5. If your in Rome and looking for a place to eat this is definitely a top choice!

27/02/2025: Eravamo nei pressi della fontana di trevi e ci siamo imbattute in qs ristorante ci hanno dapprima assegnato un tavolo in posizione centrale poi abbiamo chiesto un tavolo meno centrale e siamo state accontentate.... Sedute ci portano il menu e a fianco a noi sedeva un signore che poi ho scoperto essere il titolare e che dire subito servite ed accolte da tutti in modo empatico .... Abbiamo preso un rigatone all amatriciana spettacolare ben porzianato di ottima qualità.... Se saremo di nuovo a Roma sarete la prima scelta!!!!! Grazie

06/04/2025: Seeing the reviews, I thought it was a good ice cream shop. But the only good thing is the possibility of parking. For the rest I should have understood immediately - an ice cream shop that offers more than 10 artisanal and genuine flavors has nothing. And in fact, after spending an embarrassing amount for a kilo of ice cream we found ourselves faced with 5 flavors (salted caramel, pistachio, chocolate, stracciatella and strawberries) that were practically the same. Lots of sugar, little taste. For those who think that the more flavors there are, the better the ice cream shop…

06/04/2025: Good food at a reasonable price. The choice of Livorno-style cuisine brings tasty and varied dishes. It's a shame, although understandable, that the fixed menu formula, while remaining constant in price, slowly takes something away.

27/03/2025: Customers for years, every now and then we like to spoil ourselves with a dinner that always lives up to expectations. A must try a mix of starters which has always been our favorite moment in this restaurant. For the rest you can indulge yourself with excellent first and second courses (including game ones). We can't really call it cheap, but sometimes it's worth spending a little more than usual.

21/04/2025: Al principio no estaba tan seguro de si este lugar iba a ser bueno. Era demasiado fresco para quedarse afuera (al menos para nosotros), así que fuimos adentro. Había dos 4 - parte superior (de 2 duces cada uno) mesas abiertas en la parte delantera y trataron de llevarnos a la trastienda (donde sería ruidoso). Sin embargo, sin dudarlo mucho cuando pedimos sentarnos en una de las mesas delanteras, nos ofrecieron nuestra elección. El servicio no era solo en el lugar, pero divertido. La comida, especialmente la Polpette di melanzane era muy buena y a un precio justo. Esta es sin duda una buena opción cuando en el centro de Roma!

20/04/2025: Increíblemente buena comida con un gran ambiente local, no turístico. Servicio brillante y a un precio razonable. No está en el corazón de la ciudad turística de Roma, pero todavía en una ubicación concurrida. La comida era increíblemente buena. Pedí el plato de alcachofa y tocino Fettuccini. Los sabores eran consistentes. Pasta de Aldente con buen condimento, aceite, tocino y queso parmesano. Pedí espagueti pero el propietario dijo que NO, debe comerlo con Fettuccini casero como su fresco. Tenía razón. Un vaso de rojo para ayudar a bajar. Yummmmm
