13/12/2025: A simple, welcoming, and family-friendly restaurant, one of those increasingly hard-to-find restaurants for its many advantages: traditional yet updated cuisine. 2. The cooking skills are old-fashioned, reminiscent of grandma's cooking—a grandma who knows how to cook very well, though. 3. The excellent selection of products, both in the kitchen and in the beverages. For example, the house wine is much better than the basic bottled wine at many restaurants. The only downside? They're closed on Sunday evenings, sarcastically speaking, because they do it right; when you're doing so well, family-run, it's only right to rest when you want. I recommend it to anyone within a 50km radius.

29/11/2025: I stopped by here on a day trip. Reading the reviews, I had very high expectations, but they were a bit disappointed, both regarding the price and the quality-price ratio. I want to emphasize that for now the rating is positive, but I want to return to try other dishes and discover more flavors and maybe add a star. We started with an appetizer for two, good and plentiful, but unfortunately not with the typical flavors found in the village, far from the cold cuts and cheeses of the city and/or the supermarket. The first course was a typical dish of the restaurant: Strengozzata with a good sauce but not very tasty given the ingredients, it seemed more like a simple pasta with sauce cooked quickly. For the second course, we had the stew, cooked well and soft, but then the sauce (carrot-based, I think) covered the flavor a bit, like a sweet oi, unexpected. The side dish was bad, bad, we chose the chicory, obviously I was hoping it would be fresh that day or almost, given how far we came to eat here, instead it was like the frozen one, highly not recommended. Nothing to say about the friendly and helpful staff and owner. The place is well-furnished, clean, and characteristic, with a very nice cellar and a good selection of wines. In the end, the bill without alcohol (for: 1 appetizer, 1 first course, 1 second course, 1 side dish) is around €50. Definitely too much, considering we're not exactly in the center of Rome, and this should be considered.

13/10/2025: Be prepared for a long wait. We arrived on a Sunday for lunch, more than half an hour before anyone came to take our order, then another 40 minutes for our dishes. Then, after more than half an hour of waiting, we had to go find someone to ask for the bill. The eggplant parmigiana was incredibly heavy, overloaded with smoked provola (when? It's made with mozzarella), completely lacking basil, and just a sprinkling of parmesan on top. I ate it because by 2:30 PM, when they finally brought it, I was starving. However, its heaviness prevented me from ordering dessert, something I usually always order at restaurants. I also had to skip dinner. A bit of a "I wish I could but I couldn't" feeling about posh restaurants. Furthermore, the menu completely lacks allergen information, which is now unacceptable and ILLEGAL, so I'm taking another star off.

18/12/2025: Came across this trattoria while looking for the Eden caffè next door. Our quick Sunday lunch was enjoyable, the staff were helpful, the bill was average for Rome, so the price:quality ratio was favorable. Must go back. Somehow this review appeared as 2-star, I gave it 4.

10/11/2025: A quaint restaurant with an almost medieval feel, serving traditional and particularly exquisite dishes. Everything is excellent. Highly recommended, but be sure to book early on weekends.

21/10/2025: The food here is pretty good. Everything we ordered was great. The pizza was light, crispy crust with just the right amount of chew, topped with creamy melted cheese, savory prosciutto, fresh mushrooms, and some Parmesan. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly, super juicy and tasty, and the roasted potatoes on the side were spot on. Seafood platter, was nice. everything was made with care and top-quality ingredients. Also this place does not charge cover seat!!!

05/12/2025: The carbonara was AMAZING!!! We also had the meatballs, which were phenomenal too!! The service was perfect, and everyone was so kind and friendly!

02/12/2025: This was our last meal in Rome before flying out a few hours later. Bad call. It was the worst meal I had in 2 weeks in Italy. The pasta was way too al dente ( undercooked even). The sauce left me with bad heart burn. This made for a very uncomfortable flight. Anyway, this restaurant caters to tourists and isn't very good.

15/08/2025: The meal was perfect! I was impressed by the kindness and effort to explain everything to me, even though I couldn't speak English! I was so happy to have this meal on my last day in Italy! I don't speak Italian, so I ordered from photos, and they recommended dishes that were as similar as possible, making it a delightful meal!

10/09/2025: We tried this little seafood restaurant on a Saturday in late August. There were only a few tables and it was less than half capacity, yet the wait was exhausting. For just one appetizer and two first courses, we must have spent an hour and a half. The fried anchovies were okay, while the two first courses were offered in half portions, which we enthusiastically agreed with. In reality, it was a way to accommodate the orders of an adjacent table. In any case, the first course with monkfish was quite good, but the second course was decidedly unseasoned, featuring a very thick pasta dish, like large, "strascicate" orecchiette. To accompany them and not let the pasta flavor overpower, much more forethought and a more thoughtful accompaniment of both the fish and the sauce would have been needed. As for the ambiance, aside from the large open kitchen, it was very unremarkable for a seafood place. In short, were we just lucky with the evening? Who knows... but I wouldn't go back.

I also calculated the calories using the service shown in the photo — super convenient! I totally recommend trying it. It makes tracking your meals and staying within your daily limits so easy.

Fresh fish, expertly cooked and impeccably presented. 🦑🦐 Each dish is a discovery of authentic and delicate flavors, from the raw fish to the starters to the dessert. Friendly and attentive service, a refined and welcoming atmosphere. One of the best seafood restaurants I've ever tried: you can taste the quality and passion in every detail. Highly recommended.
