17/04/2025: The Tempio di Mecenate absolutely impressed us with its culinary delights! The pizza was crispy, perfectly topped and full of flavor - exactly how you want it in Italy. The pasta was also excellent: freshly prepared, with fine ingredients and simply delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and typically Italian, the service is friendly and attentive. A place where you immediately feel comfortable and enjoy staying. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and can highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you very much for your heart and your hospital health!

04/04/2025: The reviews seem to praise their sushi but we mostly avoided anything raw because we didn’t want to run the risk of upset stomach. The two nigiri we did try WAS very good though, and the food in general was very good. The one downside was the atrociously slow service. Like "one guy working the entire restaurant" level of slow. Our food came out in a trickle of dishes over the course of over an hour. It was our last evening so we didn’t make too much of it but definitely it wasn’t typical of what we’d experienced elsewhere.

10/04/2025: My favorite meal in Rome! It was 30 minutes walk in the opposite direction for me but it was sooo worth it. The bruschetta was very flavorful and perfectly toasted. I hate creamy sauces but the cacio e pepe was packedddd with flavor-I couldn’t resist. The tomatoes in spaghetti pomodoro were so fresh! The chocolate mousse was the best thing i’ve ever had-I returned later that night just to get more. Madly in love with this restaurant!!

25/03/2025: I would give 10 stars if possible! I loved every minute at the hotel! The reception team, the bar/restaurant team, housekeeping... everybody were PERFECT ! The service is greater than at other 5* hotels I've stayed in Rome! The room was perfect. Breakfast menu/service was top. Also I would like to pay a special attention to the Locarno Bar which is definitely one of the best bars I've ever been to! Can't wait to come back!!

24/03/2025: Rooms were fantastic, spacious and classically designed yet they were clean and well-maintained. The service was outstanding the concierge was always timely responding to requests, the bar and restaurant staff were excellent too. We especially enjoyed the relaxing evenings at Bar Locarno and food were delicious too (both breakfast and dinner)! The location is the hotel is well connected next to Piazza Del Poppolo. It’s also a nicely located to escape the noise and just relax :) a stay worth while. We had a lovely 3 nights stay at Hotel Locarno!

02/04/2025: Molto tempo è passato dall’ultima in cui (forse per qualche cambiamento in sala e in cucina) non avevo avuto buone sensazioni. Titubante ci sono ritornato e ho ritrovato la stessa atmosfera, cura, cucina, vini che tanto mi piacciono. Ok!

25/03/2025: Recommended place to spend an evening with good food accompanied by quality wine. Let yourself be guided by the innkeeper/owner and the staff, you will not be disappointed. Unique, small, the downside is the slightly high price.

09/04/2025: A place of rediscovered senses where it is not what you eat that stays with you but rather what you don't eat that pushes you to return. A continuous reinvention that intrigues the palate to try every type of dish. The possibility of an ever-changing culinary journey. From land products to sea products (which in a place like Frascati, which makes carnivorous tradition its strong point, is truly unimaginable, also considering the quality). Moving from the famous Roman pinsa that few people now work with, rich in refined ingredients and very digestible, to a large cellar of white wines based on Malvasia; up to the desserts reinvented by the chef himself who does an incredible job on the balance of flavours. And which we can find for example in a Nutella cheesecake with pistachio grains and without the presence of cheese. All tremendously tasty but never too intrusive. It's practically the realm of everything and for everyone. It is also indecently clean. Something not to be underestimated. Because where there is cleanliness, in my opinion and from my personal experience, there is respect and dedication for the customer. Everything lit in white, so as not to have to hide dirty corners as happens in dark rooms. If we add to all this a very good quality/price ratio, it is the restaurant/trattoria you absolutely must visit if you are passing through Frascati. Highly recommended. Also for the polite and fast service of all the staff.

29/03/2025: Given that I don't write many reviews, but this restaurant deserves them, so today I want to tell you about my very pleasant eating experience. The place is welcoming without great pretensions, attentive, friendly and non-invasive staff. And so far everything is normal. Very clean, it can be seen from the fact that the bathroom smells good and the toilet has no limescale in the bowl, why this observation? Because if the kitchen gives me a lot it is certainly like the bathroom. But let's get to the TOP part: eating. The crispy fried foods, fresh oil is certainly changed every day because I went twice and it was always like this. The pizza is stuffed to perfection with high quality products but you can't beat the crunchiness and digestibility! I'm a stickler and a pain in the ass, I notice little things that others consider superficial..... listen to me.... try it and you won't regret it. Oh I forgot....the desserts are vast and delicious

A state of total immersion of the senses is guaranteed, where a profound stillness and contact with nature accompany the recovery of centering. 0 km food, spectacular swimming pool and RELAXATION. Super recommended 👏🏻

01/04/2025: I don't understand how it has such good reviews, a totally guiris restaurant, the food was very poor, we ordered focaccia and they brought us a crust thinner than paper in the shape of a pizza with 3 slices of mortadella and 2 of burrata, the potato croquettes were frozen and from a bag, the waiters were clever and put on a very good face but they are not stupid at all, when we paid they didn't bring us the change, and they didn't want to bring it to us, after asking for it 3 times and waiting 20 minutes, while they acted crazy and looked at us out of the corner of their eyes, one indignantly deigned to bring the 7.5€ change, the tip is earned and if I want to leave it you bring me the change and then I decide whether to leave it or not. A bit of a struggle to clean up, they don't let you finish your meal in peace, all the time trying to clean up.

10/04/2025: Ask me if I'm happy😅! Typical Roman easy place; there were 3 of us and we chose 3 different first courses, one tastier than the other! The desserts were as good as the first courses. I highly recommend! Ps impeccable service.

23/04/2025: This place is fine. We got 5 different items and they were all mediocre and not as hot, fresh and melty as others I had while in Rome at proper sit down restaurants. Good for a quick snack to go, but that's it.

23/04/2025: Good, touristy but overrated. It's small inside, it's almost impossible to sit down when there are more than 10 people in the place. The waiting time is minimal and they serve you the supplì on a small plate. Very good but not the best supplì in Rome in my opinion! All in all a good compromise.
