Contro Contemporary Bistrot is a modern and welcoming venue, perfect for a relaxed breakfast, a quick lunch, or an aperitivo with friends. The ambiance is meticulously designed, with a pleasant atmosphere and consistently friendly and attentive service. The menu offers a good variety of dishes and drinks, made with fresh and beautifully presented ingredients. The cocktails and bar specials are excellent, always original. Prices are in line with the quality and the area. The only small point for improvement: service can sometimes be a bit slow during peak hours. Overall, however, a truly positive experience, highly recommended for anyone looking for a modern, quality bistro in Rome. 🍸🥗☕️

19/10/2025: We arrived by chance, just around the corner from the apartment. What a pleasant surprise we had... quality, exquisite burgers, and service that's no surprise in Italy... the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff adds value to the incredible culinary experience.

19/10/2025: We went here to eat and drink beer, ordered beer, and then we waited 30 minutes for anyone to check if we wanted anything to eat, and by that time we lost our apetite and wanted to pay and go somewhere else to eat. Imagine our surprise when we got our bill that had two beers and 2 euro per person charge for what ever it was, and I think it was because we didnt eat. I would avoid this place

29/07/2025: A disappointing experience in every way. I ordered a large poke bowl, and the only thing that was "large" was the price. The bowl was barely more than half full, with very few ingredients. The fish, which should be the main ingredient in poke, was practically nonexistent, and the little that was present was of truly mediocre quality, not at all appetizing. To make matters worse, the delivery arrived later than expected, further worsening an already negative experience. Poor value for money. Definitely not recommended; there are many better options in the area.

10/10/2025: If my uncle Gianni from Castelvetrano were still here, he would have made Gelateria Sicily a meeting place for the "Famigghia." We've been going there for a few years, and month after month, season after season, they never cease to amaze us with new additions, updates, and improvements. After gelato, granitas, and pastries, superbly prepared by Maestro/Chef Francesco, today we tried the latest addition, the Sicilian aperitivo, with a magnificent Spritz, prepared by Barwoman Alessia!!! Come on, always on point.

21/07/2025: Sono tornata in questa pizzeria dopo tre anni e l'ho trovata peggiorata! Innanzi tutto la mia sedia era rotta, ho chiesto di cambiarla, mi hanno risposto sì, ma son andati via e, dopo aver aspettato, ho dovuto cambiarla da sola, prendendone una ad un altro tavolo. La sedia del mio vicino era stata aggiustata lasciando viti che sporgevano e nel passare io mi son strappata i pantaloni e mio figlio si è graffiato il braccio...assurdo! I bagni a dir poco indecenti, sporchi, mancava la carta igienica, il sapone e dai due lavandini interni non usciva l'acqua, l'unico funzionante era privo di sapone e di carta per asciugarsi le mani. Il cibo: abbiamo chiesto un antipasto per 6 e ci è arrivato per tre, quindi abbiamo dovuto dividere le cose per poter assaggiare tutti tutto. La pizza è arrivata, con estremo ritardo, già fredda, dura e tutta bruciata (qualcuno l'ha rimandata indietro perché proprio nera)...io ho preso la "nduja" era sottile sottile, fredda e dura, poco condita e non piccante. Ho chiesto una pasta corta olio e parmigiano per il bimbo e mi hanno portato un formato grande solo con olio, alla richiesta del parmigiano me lo hanno portato a scaglie e la pasta era immangiabile. Ero già stata diverse volte in questo locale in occasione di feste e mi ero trovata benissimo, ci ho portato anche colleghe ed è sempre stato tutto ottimo, non so cosa sia successo, ma a distanza di anni ho visto un peggioramento nel cibo ed un abbandono degli arredi...ci ho rimesso i miei pantaloni preferiti!

26/10/2025: After we'd been sitting at the table for 20 minutes, a girl came by. We asked if we could order, but she waved us away, telling us to wait. We sat at the table without even a bottle of water; I've never seen anything like it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. After almost half an hour, we left, but maybe they didn't even notice.

25/07/2025: As a Campanian, I can say that this shop is one of the very few in Rome that offers good value for money for authentic buffalo mozzarella.

09/07/2025: I went to this store to purchase buffalo mozzarella and subsequently asked for storage instructions (they recommended keeping it at room temperature until opened, then refrigerated). Just one day after purchasing it, and having followed the instructions, the mozzarella was inedible, having formed air bubbles inside and turned sour. Considering the high cost of the product, such poor quality is unacceptable. Never again.

05/09/2025: I can only recommend this place. My wife is Peruvian and I lived there. I can assure you that, as a French chef, it was a huge surprise to discover the quality of the Peruvian dishes on offer. Ultra faithful to what you can find in Peru, we spent a week going there every day because we were so impressed (even though we were originally on vacation in Italy, I should add 😅). Each dish is made with love, hearty, generous, and flavorful! Everything I love about cooking! Bravo to the chefs behind the stove, you do a magnificent job, as a colleague told you. Sebastian, the waiter, is very professional and very friendly. I wish him all the best for his future career, and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Rome. We, in any case, can't wait to come back just to taste your dishes. 🫶🫶🫶 Viva el Perù Carajo! 🇵🇪🫶

22/06/2025: Posto discutibile,tanta varietà di gusti ma il gelato non sembra è sto gran che e il personale è pochissimo ,ci andai un giorno e il locale era pieno di persone e c’erano solamente 3 dipendenti
