25/05/2025: We had dinner for two in this restaurant found by chance while walking around the port and I must say we made an excellent choice. Appetizer with octopus alla Luciana, delicious, fried anchovies excellent and both abundant in quantity. Followed by a plate of spaghetti with clams that they kindly divided into two portions. For second courses we ordered a sea bass with potatoes really very good and a tuna fillet served with special sauces very tasty. Courteous and not intrusive staff. Pleasant atmosphere with background music. Absolutely average price. We will definitely return

28/05/2025: Great birthday lunch... everything perfect location, service and above all the main actor: the food. Dishes well presented and really tasty. The attentive and welcoming staff... the very well-kept place... an experience to repeat for sure.

27/05/2025: Very friendly staff, as is the owner. The menu is varied and the quality is always very good. The wine selection is absolutely correct. Prices consistent with the quality offered. The environment is a little cold, but it is always a pleasure to return to eat at Chiaroscuro.

15/06/2025: The service was in general good and staff friendly and helpful. Fish was also good, but The Burgers were dry and chips to oily, would bit recommend them. In the end the Tips were included in the bill and charged extra without informing us which is not very nice sign and feels a little like scum. Do not recommend to do it like that or at least inform customers in advance. Here we noticed it only after we paid and gave also tips extra. Not very professional.

03/06/2025: It's the first time we've been for dinner, A very welcoming and unpretentious trattoria, the staff very kind and always available, we ate from appetizer to dessert, all the courses were delicious and well prepared, for seven people we spent about 140 euros, very little for what we ate. We will return again because we didn't manage to try everything. Highly recommended.

02/06/2025: I went to this tavern with my boyfriend and we can only speak highly of it! Everything was delicious, from the starters to the desserts, with generous portions and more than fair prices. A special mention goes to the amatriciana: simply fantastic, among the best I've ever tasted! (The carbonara was no exception) The staff was super friendly and nice, they made us feel at home right away with a warm and authentic welcome. A truly pleasant experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to eat well and spend a meal in a familiar and genuine environment. We will definitely be back! -Brindisi

25/05/2025: Posto molto intimo, piccolino ma curato in tutti i dettagli. Servizio eccellente, qualita’ dei cibi molto buona, per chi non mangia nulla di derivante dagli animali e’ il paradiso insomma! L’unica annotazione che mi sento di fare e’ che si acquisirebbe ancora piu’ clientela anche non vegana se si abbassassero un po’ i prezzi. In due abbiamo pagato quasi 90 euro e paragonando con qualsiasi altra pizzeria o ristorante mi e’ sembrato un tantino caro. A parte questo posto da provare assolutamente!

23/05/2025: I read a post on Facebook that intrigued me so I booked a lunch and I have to say everything was very good... as they say cooked like grandma did and generous portions. We had an amazing eggplant parmigiana, some supplì made with pasta (rightly so) very good and nice crunchy gnocchi with octopus sauce and a delicious Nutella cheesecake. We will return guaranteed ☺️

05/06/2025: After 21 years I returned to this restaurant. Everything is like 21 years ago: the delicious Roman cuisine, the typical environment where you feel at home and the kind, helpful staff, beautiful people. It seemed to me to return to a dream that I thought was lost. See you soon, I will not wait another 20 years to return.

02/06/2025: We ordered the Lonza casareccia appetizer and 2 first courses: amatriciana and carbonara. The best thing we ate was the loin. The bread in the basket, given while waiting for the dishes to arrive, was hard, in fact we ate the breadsticks to accompany the loin which was simply a plate of cured meats, without any accompaniment. The first courses were the most disappointing part of the dinner: in the carbonara you couldn't taste the egg at all and it was full of parmesan, so much so that it made you disgusted. The amatriciana on the other hand was a pasta with sauce with lots of parmesan and a few pieces of softened bacon. We strongly advise against it, especially for those who want to eat typical first courses of Roman cuisine. We hope that the rest of the menu will be fine, but we certainly won't be back to check.

22/06/2025: Sono stato a cena con mia moglie in questo posto fantastico. La prima impressione è davvero di un piccolo paradiso perché il locale ha una bellissima vista sul lago di Bracciano. È consigliata la prenotazione con molto anticipo per avere i posti migliori. L'arredamento all'interno è molto semplice ed elegante e l'atmosfera rilassante, adatta per a cene di coppia o in piccoli gruppi. I piatti, bellissimi da vedere, sono ancora più buoni da mangiare. L'abilità in cucina esalta il sapore dell'ottimo pesce utilizzato senza coprirlo mai. Consigliati gli scialatielli ai frutti di mare e la grigliata mista. Ottimo anche il vino. Considerata la qualità dei prodotti, anche il conto è più che giusto. Il personale in sala accompagna i clienti nella scelta con garbo e discrezione: Lorenzo e Alessia si sono dimostrati gentilissimi e disponibili. Torneremo sicuramente!

20/06/2025: Locale gradevole in riva al lago. Crudi interessanti. Prodotti freschi e ben serviti. Tartare di tonno top. Spaghetti all’astice buoni un pochino secchi. Delizia al limone buona per il contesto. Da riprovare senz’altro

11/06/2025: Classy dinner, everyone had different things: birger, pizza, pasta, poke. Everyone was very satisfied with both the quality of the food and the excellent presentation. Some small errors in service, but considering the large number of people it is acceptable. Recommended.

05/06/2025: Our group of 3 ordered a pizza, a Smash burger and a Wrong burger. The pizza was rubbery. The dough has not risen at all. The tomato sauce was without flavor and very little cheese. I had the smash burger which was dried, especially around the edges. The bacon was nice and crispy. The bun was ok. It could be better if it is grilled/toasted a little bit. The French fries were the best. The Wrong burger is an open-face burger. The meat was just as dried. The dip for the potato was very tasty but the potatoes was very greasy. Service was alright. Other than very late with the menu, the ordering, servicing were nice and efficient. I went here because it was rated 4.8. I was very disappointed. We were all hungry for something other than Italian food. I don't know why friend still ordered a pizza since he was the one who really wanted a burger. He said he wanted a standard American burger and was not impressed with all the fancy variations.
