Hidden gem on a quiet side street. Some of the best food we had in Rome, couldn’t recommend more!

The food was very good, and the atmosphere was super welcoming!

We had a delicious meal at Antica Osteria la Lula - really tasty food at a good price ( the wine was great too) So lovely to find this authentic restaurant - would highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I ate here about 3 weeks ago and it was one of the best meals we had in our 7 days in Italy. The atmosphere is wonderful as it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the street and is a quaint environment. The service was very lovely, not pushy at all. The handwritten menus were a very nice touch and added to the ambiance of the place. Overall, the food was spectacular, and the house wine was a good pair with the pastas we had. I wish we had time to return for dinner. Lunch there was awesome and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a small, authentic meal.

Wonderful Osteria. Many dishes to choose from including Roma Cacio e Pepe. I heard staff speaking English. Very affordable. I’ve been to Rome many times and love finding places the locals eat food like mamma makes, away from crowds. Has quaint interior and some outdoor tables as well. Caravaggio frequented the restaurant because he lived in that street.

A very nice place not far from the tourist routes, tasty and inexpensive food, pleasant atmosphere and hostess!

Genuine place with really good food

Perfect dinner ✨ The place is welcoming and surprisingly quiet, even though it's right in the center. The food is excellent, especially the Roman-style artichokes and the pinsa—everything is truly delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can feel the place maintaining its authenticity over time. Highly recommended!

Good food, very good service, and an excellent atmosphere. We loved our pizza, the bread, and the tiramisu.

Our family recently made our first trip to Rome and couldn't have been happier to find this gem of a restaurant! We were lucky to have found it the first night we arrived and had such a great experience that after 9 days of traveling through Southern Italy, we made sure to come back the night before flying home to enjoy the experience again. Everything we ordered was fantastic! Carbonara, cacio e pepe, bolognese, pizza, lamb and potatoes and of course, the tiramisu! It's a nice quaint restaurant that really makes you feel welcome. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Roman dining experience. The owner and hosts are amazing and made this a wonderful experience for our family. We cant wait to go back!
