17/06/2025: We literally placed our suitcases in our accommodation and decided to go for a walk, and see what was available for lunch around 1430. We came across Mastro Giorgio. This restaurant is beautifully decorated and is very cosy. They have an excellent selection of contemporary Italian dishes. Of those, we chose the tonarelli pasta " Cacio peperoncino e cicoria" and the "Bucatani con le sarde". Both dishes were exceptional and this was my first time eating pasta with sardines, which actually worked really well together. The tonarelli pasta dish is this restaurant's signature dish and a must try. If we had more stomach space we would have definitely tried more dishes. We highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. We would like to thank Andrea for being so polite and courteous. He was very helpful and made our time at Mastro Girgio very pleasant. We will try to come here again before we leave Rome!

01/06/2025: Everything was delicious! You need to book because there were a lot of people on Sunday for lunch. But even eating outside, it was super good! :) Tip: get the cannoli (you get three small ones to fill at the same table). Fun to make and yummy to eat! :)

14/06/2025: Attesa per avere i menù, attesa per ordinare, attesa per le portate, disorganizzazione..... Ci siamo fermati agli antipasti e quattro primi. Ore 20 entrata, antipasto dopo un'ora.. Unico pregio: i bambini serviti per primi come richiesto .......

21/04/2025: Attracted by the reviews, I can only confirm. Excellent food and quality of raw materials, welcoming venue, attentive but not intrusive service, excellent value for money. Definitely try their homemade pasta. We also discovered that they organize themed evenings, such as a murder mystery dinner. Definitely coming back.

16/08/2025: I took my wife to celebrate Ferragosto (August 15th) at this wonderful restaurant, knowing from experience, since we're regulars, that we'd be surprised. We found a fixed menu for just €50 per person, all-inclusive from appetizers to cake, accompanied by excellent Falanghina (also included in the package). The food was excellent, as was the fast and friendly service. Thank you guys for giving us the opportunity to spend a relaxing holiday.

03/08/2025: Chinese, Italian, and Japanese restaurant. The perfect place for everyone! The prices are truly competitive, and both the owner and staff are friendly and helpful.

25/07/2025: Very large Chinese restaurant. We returned one evening after a few years, but unfortunately it wasn't as good as the first time. We ordered rice noodles, and they brought them cut noodles instead of whole ones. This had never happened to me before, not even when we first went to this restaurant, and I honestly prefer eating whole noodles. Aside from this flaw, the overall quality wasn't as good as last time. I don't know... maybe we were there on a special night and it wasn't very crowded. Too bad.

22/06/2025: Great food and great service. My husband and I came here with our two teenaged daughters on our way from Rome to Tuscany. My husband and I both had the fried calamari and shrimp and our teens had the spaghetti with clams and the shrimp risotto. Absolutely delicious, all of it. Our girls thought so, too. Very friendly owner and server. If it’s along your route, definitely give it a try!!
