It wasn’t a great experience though the staff were friendly. We were hoping for something a bit more tasty and special given the reviews , even though it is in a touristic area and we were not expecting high end. The value for money was definetly not there for us. We paid about 90 euros which we had paid at high end restaurants during our trip in Italy and were much much more satisfied. My pasta was very salty it overpowered the dish, I couldn’t finish it. My husband’s lamb was fine but most pieces were more bone than meat and the side potatoes were not evenly cooked and oily. If you’re in the area and want a quick okayish meal then go for it but wouldn’t recommend it if you have higher expectations.

What can I say...authentic home cooking without frills, amazing cacio e pepe and equally amazing gricia...perfectly cooked, neither raw nor overcooked...smart and friendly waiters...well behaved since 1880! See you next time!!!

had the best amatriciana pasta here the place is super nice and quiet away from the busier streets we were here twice the second time the waiter we had shared they can't make mocktails although we had one the time before thankfully the waiter we had the first time(sadly i don't know his name) came over and offered to take our mocktail order and saved the day:) i reccomend this place for great pasta

Historic place, we had a good carbonara and a grilled pork chop to share. Friendly and helpful staff, fast service. The Roman appetizers are a bit sparse, a bit more touristy.
