The dishes were well-served, impeccably flavored, and reasonably priced (mine was cacio e pepe, which cost 12 euros, and my wife's was carbonara, which cost 11 euros).

16/10/2025: This is the SHINTO I recognize! The 2.0 version of Shinto Milano is—finally—a restaurant worthy of the city, embodying all the expertise of the historic Roman restaurant. It has nothing to do with the previous management: the restaurant is elegant and, above all, the service lives up to the food. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes are consistently top-notch. Two dishes I particularly enjoyed: tuna sashimi (toro) and the beetroot and scallop roll. The wine list? Extensive and with a fair markup for Milanese standards. Honestly? I was hoping for a reopening, and they exceeded my expectations! See you soon!

07/11/2025: This was our second visit to the restaurant: the first time it was just the two of us, and because we enjoyed it so much, we decided to return with seven people on our next trip to Rome. We weren't disappointed this time either. The pasta, the fish, and the other dishes were superbly prepared and delicious. The excellent wine paired perfectly with the food. The service was attentive and friendly, and the beautiful ambiance made our evening particularly enjoyable once again. We will definitely be back!

29/08/2025: One of my favorite places in my neighborhood. Always new and unique beers. Despite the restrictions, the guys have found the best way to get their fresh beers to your home, whether in 1L glass bottles or convenient cans to carry around with you. Thanks guys for the great drinks.

01/09/2025: The pizza is sourdough, excellent according to my husband (I can't eat it). We had two roast chickens with potatoes. And congratulations, the first time the breast was JUICY AND TENDRY, cooked to perfection! Mouth-wateringly perfect! The baked potatoes that accompanied it were delicious! It's not true that simple things are easy to make; even the most "experienced" often get them wrong. Well done! Keep it up!

31/07/2025: The quality has deteriorated, unfortunately. The marinara, which was among the best in Rome, now has too little sauce and a thinner, less pleasant dough. Plus, the excess oil ruins the whole thing (I left it after two pieces). The fried tagliolini cacio e pepe was full of pepper and arrived cold. I hope this review, based on my disappointment, helps you stay among the best in the area. Good luck.

09/10/2025: We came looking for rissoto mashrooms. We saw the place had high rating (4.2) so we came. The rissoto was bad, didn't taste like mushrooms, the mushrooms felt like they were from a can, which might be since they have such a big menu. The other dish that was just pork and fries was good. Disappointing overall. But the service was good.
