buonissimo e alla mano. niente fronzoli, ma tanta sostanza. si mangia il menu della tradizione, poche cose ma fresche e succulente (fanno pure i dolci). ci sono stato diverse volte in una settimana d'ottobre, e ho mangiato amatriciana, carbonara, polpettone, arrosto misto, agnello impanato con osso annesso con cui impugnarlo, da sgranocchiare.. patate e cicoria (ripassata piccante e in agro al limone), crème caramel e bignè (nelle foto, alcune delle pietanze). Non c'era una cosa che non fosse squisito. E i prezzi onestissimi.. dai 12 ai 20€ a persona, nelle occasioni in cui abbiamo mangiato a scatafascio. Andateci che vale davvero.

Inexpensive but competes with the big boys. We first visited this restaurant 12 years ago. We’re elated to know it survives covid, etc and is better than ever. Home made pasta. The minestrone soup was fantastic.

06/04/2024: True Roman cuisine, said by a Roman and a wine cellar all over again 🥰
05/04/2024: If you want to taste traditional Roman cuisine you have to come here; everything was excellent from the starter to the dessert, which I won't mention since you need a Roman accent to do it well 😊, and even the wines from vineyards near Rome were super and didn't make us feel the cold of the evening dining outside 'open.

30/03/2024: Excellent food, clean room and just repainted. If you want to eat Roman cuisine and walk among the beautiful period houses of Garbatella it is the best place.
30/03/2024: Typical hosteria atmosphere and friendly and very fast service. Excellent food with all traditional Roman dishes. We have already been there many times and will certainly return.
