From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a magical atmosphere: the property is marvelous, meticulously crafted and truly spectacular. 28/05/2026: I've been to this restaurant twice, and both times, it was a positive experience. For dinner, I was with a group of six, and we tasted a riot of incredibly fresh raw fish, flawless and beautifully paired with both cooked and raw vegetables, which were also well-prepared. The rest of the meal consisted of rich, balanced, and thoroughly enjoyable first courses. For lunch, I went alone during a work break. The owner greeted me with his usual friendliness, but with a more welcoming tone. He selected a nice table for me and dedicated himself to suggesting a light and tasty menu consisting of an appetizer of green beans, red date tomatoes, basil, and steamed and shelled prawns; delicious. For the main course, he served me a slice of amberjack, simply cooked in a light sauce of Pachino tomatoes and Gaeta olives; truly top-notch in its simplicity, thanks to the freshness of the fish, the cooking time, and the balance of flavors. Ultimately, Ghiaccio is a restaurant with a beautiful and elegant atmosphere, without being stuffy; the large windows offer a pleasant sense of openness to the outdoors, and the immense wine cabinets accommodate tastings for a variety of palates and budgets. The owner is always present, friendly with a touch of warmth, attentive to the staff... and that always makes the difference. Finally, the staff: kind, attentive, moderately professional, but ultimately attentive... in true Roman metropolitan style.

20/05/2026: A fine dining experience at its best at Ghiaccio. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome, with warm and attentive service throughout the evening. The food was truly magnificent—beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. Every dish felt carefully crafted and memorable. Just an overall “wow” experience from start to finish. Easily one of the most impressive dining experiences.

28/05/2026: A great find Slow service but very good food, good portions all at very reasonable prices. Tiramisu was the only disappointment as it looked like an end of leftover, but altogether a highly recommended place to visit.

14/03/2026: I popped in here as I needed a quick lunch, I wasn’t disappointed. I had a big and delicious plate of pasta and a Campari spritz for €15, great value. They also had a decent range of German beers. The staff were understanding of my lack of Italian and spoke with me in English. Relaxed setting and atmosphere.

Taking the time to venture beyond those tourist traps led us to this remarkable hidden gem, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Rome is filled with restaurants, cafés, and trattorias, making it difficult to know where to eat. After several meals around the city, this was the one that stood out above all the others. The combination of outstanding food, excellent service, welcoming atmosphere, and authentic local character created a truly memorable experience. As someone who is genuinely difficult to impress, I can honestly say that every aspect of this meal exceeded expectations. If you are visiting Rome and want a dining experience that captures everything great about Italian hospitality and cuisine, make the effort to seek out this remarkable restaurant. 11/05/2026: Terrible service! The employee got the flavors I ordered wrong, and did the same with my friend's ice cream, and was rude and unpleasant when we went to tell her. She almost rolled her eyes at us, threw the ice cream in the trash and didn't even respond. Unfriendly and unprofessional! I ordered cookie, tiramisu and hazelnut ice cream and, honestly, none of them had much flavor. There are much better ice cream shops in the city! Very small portions served. I paid €4 for the medium cup and it was poorly served.
