02/06/2026: Let me start by saying that I was born into a completely Sicilian family, so I'm picky when I go to eat at places that offer this type of cuisine.
We went to this place last night, EVERYTHING was PERFECT.
Welcoming and friendly.
The menu was amazing and the prices were super fair.
The food was excellent, what can I say, it made me cry!
It's become one of my favorite places in Rome.

22/07/2026: I tried arancini for the first time! They were twice as big as I expected, and delicious!
I ordered the RAGU and VOLCANO, recommended by the staff. At first, I thought they were too big to finish, so I ordered a small portion, but they were so delicious that I ordered more.
They also had an English menu, which made it easy to understand! Thank you for the meal!
06/07/2026: Absolutely excellent! Rediscovered after several years, it's always a guarantee. First of all, the kindness, along with 2 waters, 2 excellent arancini, and 2 portions of delicious baked anelletti. They asked us to wait 15 minutes for them to prepare them, but it was worth it. We'll definitely be back.

05/08/2026: One of the best restaurants in Rome for delicious seafood. The interiors are beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the service is impeccable.
04/08/2026: Elegant atmosphere, excellent and very courteous service.
Unfortunately, I have to stop here.
I don't know if it's due to the change of location and the significantly higher seating capacity, but in my opinion, after several years, I've unfortunately noticed a significant decline in value for money, and more.
My last experience also left me very perplexed by the completely inadequate ventilation, with fans in some corners blowing directly onto the tables. If it's unacceptable in a place like this, it's certainly unexpected.
I'm unlikely to return, and not without regret.

08/08/2026: As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, they seated us, only to immediately tell us to get up and move outside into the 90° heat. This was when they had a bunch of tables inside and we had a reservation for inside. They were extremely rude about it, and the waiter was incredibly unpleasant throughout the experience. On top of that, they were out of half of their pasta dishes and almost all of their desserts. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
08/08/2026: Welcoming, quick service, very friendly staff, and good food. The oxtail stew melted in your mouth.
Must try.

As a Sicilian, I appreciated the deli food displayed at the counter, and I must say it was truly delicious, especially the baked calzone.

01/07/2026: I went to Campisi for dinner with my father and we were truly impressed. Paolo, the owner, welcomed us warmly and guided us through our selection of dishes, passionately explaining each course and letting us experience the meticulous attention to detail that goes into each preparation.
The cuisine is something different from the typical seafood dinner: creative dishes, meticulously crafted with the highest-quality ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. Each course was carefully crafted, never overdone, but rather harmonious and surprising.
A gastronomic experience I recommend to anyone seeking refined, original seafood cuisine that truly showcases the ingredients. We'll definitely be back.

When the dishes arrive at the table, you savor not only the excellent cuisine, but also the story that accompanies them. You can sense the research, the care taken with the ingredients, and the love for tradition.
Attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere, and truly high quality. Kudos to the entire staff, and especially to the owner, for the passion he conveys.

Typical Palermitan delicacies, such as bread and panelle, freshly fried arancini, and superb Sicilian cannoli.
The guy behind the counter was incredibly friendly.
We'll definitely be back.

27/07/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. We had lunch around 4:00 PM, so it's understandable that the food wasn't exactly delicious, but it was still average. The arancina was very good. The bill was a bit pricey, but overall it was more than adequate.
27/07/2026: Excellent pastry and delicatessen. Over time, I've had the opportunity to try both sweet and savory dishes. Everything was delicious (the caponata was amazing). The only things I would change are the amount of sugar in the cannoli (I'd use less sugar) and the thickness of the pastry (I'd make the pastry thinner).
Update: I've been back and was pleasantly surprised that my recommendations were followed. My place of trust is confirmed once again ❤️

We stopped by late one evening for some refreshing gelato (gelateria & Sicilian desserts)...but seeing the deli section, we decided to return for a nice lunch! We found...

26/07/2026: Unfortunately, the service and courtesy of Sicilianedde's staff have never been the restaurant's strong points, with the exception of the current blonde waitress, who is always professional and kind.
What I find truly unfair is the inconsistency in the application of the table service surcharge. I've seen people consuming takeout items while sitting at tables (in the evening) without paying any extra, while I was denied a service of three small granitas at the counter because some of my group had already sat at a table. I was implicitly asked for table service in an unprofessional manner, without even being looked in the eye. Meanwhile, people continued to sit around us with their takeout items.
Rules should apply equally to everyone. When they're applied selectively, the restaurant loses credibility. Considering the already high prices, this lack of consistency ruins the experience and puts off returning.
