A great find Slow service but very good food, good portions all at very reasonable prices. Tiramisu was the only disappointment as it looked like an end of leftover, but altogether a highly recommended place to visit.

It's a trattoria, the service is basic, not classy. I went twice with friends, and they were really happy. I had a bit of trouble eating... the first time I had gluten-free pasta with tomato sauce and zucchini and eggplant as a main course. The second time I tried a sliced ​​beef steak with mushrooms. The pasta was very al dente but plentiful, and the zucchini and eggplant were okay. The meat was a bit too tender for beef, and the mushrooms melted in your mouth. I had colic both days after, so there must have been some contamination in the kitchen. Everyone else ate very well and was super happy, so we went back!

we biked over here from the Parco degli Acquedotti. it's a good thing Hosteria Antica on the Via Appia was full for the day, because San Tarcisio was amazing. they served us a delicious tagliolini pasta and picanha steak. the service was friendly and patient with our poor Italian even though the spot is clearly a favorite for locals. definitely a culinary highlight of our trip!

16/06/2026: We used this place for a short break before visiting the Colosseum. It was past lunchtime, and nearby restaurants refused to serve just coffee, but this place was fine, which was a great help. The sofas were very comfortable. It was hot during our sightseeing, so being able to rest was very much appreciated.

22/04/2026: In addition to the restaurant's well-preserved but unobtrusive history, there's a great atmosphere, thanks in large part to the highly trained staff. The menu is simple but top-quality.
