09/06/2025: Ieri siamo stati in questo ristorante per la Cresima dei miei nipoti e devo dire che siamo stati benissimo. Il locale è curatissimo e pulitissimo, molto molto carino. Personale e proprietari di una cortesia e simpatia unica, idem per la professionalità. Da mangiare tutto buonissimo e fresco. Ci tornerò sicuramente per una cena in famiglia. lo consiglio vivamente.

24/05/2025: neighborhood seafood restaurant at reasonable prices. You can opt for the unlimited buffet or an à la carte menu. Excellent food, exceptional value for money, exquisite staff, as well as the Maître d' and the owners. Recommended!

13/04/2025: At outdoor or indoor tables, at the counter or hanging out between indoors and outdoors: you feel good everywhere. The environment is inviting, the wines are good, the accompanying pizzas too. It can be a great starting or finishing point.

18/09/2025: A huge and welcoming location. Ideal for ceremonies like communions, baptisms, and birthdays. I was there for a retirement party, and I had fried food (nothing special... it tasted like frozen) and very thin-crust pizza, but it was good. The staff was attentive and friendly. The exhaust ventilation system could be improved; the smell of fried food wafts from the main entrance, and unfortunately, it affects clothes and hair, even when eating in the outdoor dining area. This is meant as a suggestion for improvement, not a criticism. However, I would return; I recommend it!

14/09/2025: We had the opportunity to both eat in and order takeout. The food was good, although the service was unfortunately extremely slow; however, the location is beautiful. When we ordered takeout, the pizzas we picked up were tiny, perhaps only suitable for children, and one of the pizzas was even the wrong size.

09/08/2025: Fantastic, highly recommended. Large indoor seating area or inside, your choice. Good food and beautiful, dim lighting. Excellent cocktails. A must-try for a quiet but fun evening. 5⭐

18/08/2025: Informal location, with a wide selection of natural wines. Excellent food, well-prepared, and above all, different from the usual. Attentive, competent, and courteous service. An excellent experience on a wonderful August evening. We will definitely be back.

30/07/2025: Small, authentic, and with one of the best selections of natural wines we tried in Rome. It's close to Campo de' Fiori but away from the hustle and bustle. I went alone one afternoon for a drink while reading and ended up chatting with the waiter, who recommended a wine from southern Italy I hadn't heard of, and I loved it. They have a short but well-curated menu for snacks: cured meats, cheeses, delicious bread, and some warm tapas. The atmosphere is relaxed, somewhat bohemian, with locals and a few curious visitors. Very different from the touristy wine bars in the city center. A place to savor slowly, without rushing. I'll return every time I pass through Rome, because it seemed like one of those places with soul.

08/09/2025: Our visit to Pizzeria El Sangria was unfortunately very chaotic. The place was overcrowded, and the service proved inadequate to handle the number of customers. ​We were at two separate tables, for a total of 14 people. After being seated, we waited over 25 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The situation worsened significantly when we had to wait an hour and 35 minutes for our pizzas and a few other orders. ​Although the pizza wasn't bad (perhaps also due to the long wait, which increased our appetites), the overall experience was profoundly negative. They should stop trying to serve more people than they can actually handle. The maximum number of seats is determined by the capacity of the kitchen/oven, not the size of the room. While the food quality wasn't terrible, the service and wait times make this place unsuitable.

26/07/2025: For those who eat and appreciate meat, it's the most important reference point I've ever found. Luciano is an experienced restaurateur and the only one I know who selects the finest meat from small breeders, purchasing the entire animal and personally processing and cutting the animal. Since he doesn't buy from large retailers, his product is unique and impossible to find elsewhere, even at a substantial price. Furthermore, the asking price is negligible compared to the absolute quality combined with the selection of prized breeds such as Galician ox, old cow, Simmenthal, etc., all selected from small breeders. For true carnivores, you'll find a hot prosciutto appetizer with a huge aging refrigerator from which to choose only the best. Luciano, an absolute benchmark.

04/09/2025: A very pleasant weekend, a romantic suite, and a huge terrace where I enjoyed a breathtaking view. Many small points of light forming an intricate web of gold and silver threads, thus outlining the streets and domes of the Eternal City. I ate very well, and Mr. Oscar, very kind, was a perfect adviser for the dishes 😊.

07/09/2025: First of all, I want to say a word against those who give one star for the most abstract and fanciful reasons... stay home. I ate at this restaurant a year ago and forgot to review it. I think the food is excellent... the location is very nice, and the service is impeccable. I have a complaint about the price, though, because I find it a bit high, but that's normal here in Grottaferrata.
