06/10/2025: I had dinner here and the experience was excellent in every way. The food is excellent quality and the portions are generous, in keeping with Ariccia's tradition. I found the value for money truly unbeatable. Special praise goes to the staff, who were very kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening, making the dinner even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Castelli Romani cuisine!

11/06/2025: Me and my brother were so very as we had just arrived in Rome and we stumbled across this fine establishment nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful whilst the food was delicious! I have never tasted pasta, cheese, and prosciutto as good as I did when I ate here. A must try if you are in the area!

26/06/2025: Traditional home cooking from various Italian regions, tasty appetizers with satisfying portions even dividing them and varied by type and ingredients (meat, fish, cheese, vegetables, we tasted practically all of them), delicious meatballs in sauce and the right size, good house white wine. Excellent quality/price ratio.

28/06/2025: We found it from Google reviews and came here. It's a great place. All the pizzas were great. You get the one you like by weighing it as much as you want. Emmanuele is very kind and helpful. We were able to communicate in English. Their pizzas have won awards twice. You can see the prices in the photos.

11/09/2025: Top meat Definitely one of the best places to eat meat in Rome. The bruschetta with sausage and the beef skewers rolled in Colonnata lard are also excellent. Meat from all over the world, cooked to perfection.

13/09/2025: I don't recommend it... I paid in advance for an event they organized, and when I got there, there wasn't even a seat. The very expensive buffet was meager and poor. I asked to speak to a manager (C.) to resolve the issue and find a solution, but she was very rude and condescending. Absolutely failed.

02/10/2025: Excellent lunch at the Sampietrino restaurant. Just a few meters from San Giovanni in Laterano, it offers quality and courtesy to its customers and passing tourists. Excellent appetizers, first and second courses, and excellent desserts. Excellent, friendly, and professional service, managed by Mr. Filippo, the kitchen staff, and the entire restaurant staff. Well done 👏🏻

02/10/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant with a group of 50 people. We were all satisfied with the food, the friendly service, and the speed of service. I highly recommend it.

29/07/2025: Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.

23/07/2025: Amazing lunch experience under the vines. Meals and wine were superb, service was first class and atmosphere was next level fabulous. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

05/10/2025: I went for lunch on a Sunday, everything was perfect until the first course, mine was tagliolini with shrimp bisque... disappointing and tasteless. My friends' amatriciana was good but not up to expectations. The service was slow and sloppy. But I still recommend going because the appetizers and meat main courses were top notch!

05/10/2025: Terrible experience. If you want to order lunch, show up for breakfast. Waiting time was at least an hour or more, even though all the tables weren't full. Even though we sat down at 2:35 PM and ordered 10 minutes later, they brought the first course at 3:30 PM and the second course at 4:30 PM, after repeatedly expressing that we were in a hurry (and receiving rude responses without apologies for the wait, considering it normal to wait more than two hours to complete lunch). Rude and inattentive staff. Terrible amatriciana and poor-quality tagliata. For goodness sake, €10 for amatriciana is the right amount, while for the tagliata, the meat was tough and flavorless, about 200g for €18. Totally disappointed. Dessert was not ordered, otherwise they would have served it as an aperitif. Highly discouraged. Finally we ordered on TheFork with a 20% discount but they didn't want to apply it because the site says that the discount doesn't apply on Sundays. We had to show the confirmation email from TheFork to get the discount.

07/09/2025: Satisfied with everything, even my guest! I was pleasantly surprised by the tiramisu served in an aluminum home coffee maker (I think a Bialetti).

16/08/2025: We arrived at 1:20 PM, and I had my steak at 3:45 PM. Terrible service. They didn't explain the dishes exactly, and in fact, they delivered piles of fries. The bill was very high. I wouldn't go back. I traveled 80 km to get there.

06/09/2025: Typical Roman home-style pizzeria in the Castelli area. Delicious pizza, the typical Roman shallow pizza. Ham and cheese appetizer, typical Castelli Romani atmosphere, excellent service, very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended; if you want excellent traditional Roman pizza, you've come to the right place. 5 stars, well deserved.
