12/04/2025: Roman pizza with vegetables too good! Super fried appetizers! Supplì, courgette flowers and fried cod, really special and not too heavy. Typical atmosphere, even if a little Spartan. Fast and kind waiters. We spent less than €25 each, despite having eaten and drank everything 😍 Highly recommended! I'll be back! Already tomorrow?

24/02/2025: Il locale non è grandissimo, ma è molto accogliente e l'atmosfera che si respira è molto amichevole, i ragazzi del personale sono tutti molto gentili e simpatici. Noi eravamo 2 e abbiamo preso un sautè di cozze e vongole e un polpo arrosto, entrambi molto buoni, saporitissimi, soprattutto le vongole. Ottima anche la qualità del pane che viene servito insieme al sautè. Poi abbiamo preso 2 primi, due fuori menù (pasta con ragù di orata e pasta allo scoglio). Il ragù di orata era veramente eccezionale, saporitissimo, porzione abbondante come piace a me e soprattutto nel ragù c'era tanta orata, non erano di quei ragù che sono tutto sugo e 2-3 pezzettini di pesce. Anche l'altro fuori menù è stato molto apprezzato. Infine abbiamo preso una frittura di calamari, anch'essa molto buona, ma nella media, la panatura era un po' troppo spessa per i miei gusti, ma questa è una questione di preferenze personale, il gusto era comunque buono. Nella media anche i dolci, non all'altezza di antipasto e primo, ma perchè entrambi sono stati eccezionali. Rimangono quindi comunque molto buoni, ho apprezzato in particolare che la crema del tiramisù non fosse di quelle pesanti, molto gialle, ma è più delicata. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo, con tutto quello elencato in precedenza e con vino, acqua, caffè e amaro, senza contare lo sconto The Fork, avremmo speso 45 euro a testa, veramente poco in confronto alla qualità delle materie prime usate. Sicuramente torneremo, alla prossima!

20/03/2025: Posto non facile da trovare, in aperta campagna, ma merita assolutamente un buon pranzo o cena. Tutta la pasta fatta in casa veramente ottima , mangiato le “caramelle” sempre pasta fatta in casa con funghi porcini e tartufo BUONISSIME. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

20/04/2025: "Best" place to go if you have Amex dining credit burning a hole in your pocket. Otherwise, I’d strongly recommend trying one of the other restaurants on the Rome Amex list—or better yet, save your money altogether. If Amex wasn’t footing the bill, I wouldn’t dream of spending my own euro here. Let’s start with the positives: the view. It’s undeniably stunning and a great spot for an evening drink and dinner. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t even come close to matching the scenery. My wife and I had a late lunch earlier in the day, so we decided to dip our toes in with just two appetizers (baby octopus and tuna tartare) before committing to mains or dessert. The presentation was lovely, but the flavors? Disappointingly average. So much so that we stopped at the starters—no mains, no dessert, not even a coffee. As for the oysters on the menu, they’re priced at an eye-watering €12 per oyster. For context, oysters in Paris—a city not exactly known for being budget-friendly—usually cost €3-4 each. At €12, I’m assuming these must be the most mind-blowingly delicious oysters on the planet, though I didn’t dare test that theory. A word of caution for smokers: while they do provide ashtrays, this is not a “cigar-friendly” rooftop, so if you’re envisioning a relaxing evening with a smoke, a drink, and a view, you might want to look elsewhere. All in all, the view is nice—but then again, so are the views from most rooftop bars in Rome. Thanks to Amex for picking up the tab, but I’d highly suggest delisting AcquaRoof from your global dining selection. We came for the view, stayed for the credit, and left unimpressed.

13/03/2025: I'll make it very short. We arrived and there were only us inside. There were 3 of us for a dinner with friends and to spend a different evening. The meat was very good, we arrived at 8.45pm but at 10.30pm he literally chased us away. Not even the time for a cigarette that told us to close the gate. Too bad about the high bill, it could have acquired a good customer but I don't think I will return. I don't recommend it.

11/03/2025: I discovered this place by chance and then I saw it on TikTok: a unique place! If you love grilled meat, you're on the safe side here. The quality is very good, with a selection of matured meats on display, and you can immediately smell the typical aroma of the brazier that welcomes you upon entering. The location is rustic, immersed in the plain, perfect for those seeking tranquility. They have a very pleasant outdoor area for beautiful days and summer, while the interior is cozy, warm and welcoming, ideal for cooler evenings. The wine cellar is well stocked, with great options to accompany the dishes. The staff is friendly and super efficient: despite the relaxed atmosphere, the service is fast. Homemade side dishes and desserts complete everything. In short, an excellent experience for those who love genuine flavors and the heat of the grill. Highly recommended!
