UPDATE: my second visit didn’t compare to the first. It was actually quite disappointing. Having high expectations due to the initial dining experience, may have contributed to the disappointment, but the two main dishes were definitely off. One – the prawns were totally undercooked and the other pasta dish was flavorless. I’ll contribute it to the kitchen having a bad night. The service was very good and the atmosphere and ambience is always great. I’ll give them another try. First review. ‘Truly one of the best restaurants in Rome. Without a doubt the best pasta! I’ve been disappointed many times dining in Rome but so glad I made it to Pianostrada. I dined at the bar and was able to interact and observe the chefs. They were warm and welcoming. A real treat! I started with crispy artichoke with creamy pecorino cheese with vinegar reduction- crunchy and delicious. Then, scottana beef tartare - very tender. Then, the pasta… so good. Tagliardella with ragú.l with guinea fowl, rabbit, mushroom, olives and Parmesan cheese. Truly Amazon! Thanks Chiara! I have blurry pics to check out. That’s all for now.’

Love the ambience of this restaurant at first it was a bit challenging to locate as it wasn’t at main road. Was seated at an area full of illuminated lights makes the vibes cosy. Food wise is impeccable and did not regret it. A perfect spot for romantic dates in Rome on a Friday night

Prenotare in questo splendido ristorante non è facile! Dopo qualche mese sono riuscito a prenotare di Sabato. L’attesa è valsa senza ombra di dubbio. Location super curata! Tavoli ben distanziati! Personale affiatato e super gentile nonché davvero preparato. Prodotti di eccellenza che devono essere pagati senza lamentale da parte del commensale perché di qualità. La chef è stata ammirevole con noi facendo due chiacchiere in modo umile e garbato come Lei. Passando al cibo, questa volta, voglio far parlare le foto. Ciò che mi preme dire è che vorrei tanto che le “ donne” chef siano premiate in ugual misura degli uomini! La star del ristorante è Paola Colucci alla quale auguro di ricevere premi pari se non più importanti delle stelle Michelin. Conto Giustissimo! Torneremo con molta frequenza! Ambiente carino personale gentile cibo buono non tantissima scelta ma dato il prodotto ci può stare. Prezzi decisamente sopra la media. Ma per una serata intima ci può anche stare.

Atmosfera romantica con luci e piante nel giardino/cortile interno (riscaldato d’inverno). Locale curato nei minimi dettagli, piatti squisiti e personale super professionale. Uno dei miei posti preferiti ✨

Si dice che la perfezione non esiste, ma mamma mia piano strada ci si avvicina proprio tanto. Il posto è curato, pulito e molto bello. Nell'insieme pensato nei minimi dettagli. Piatti ben pensati, ottimi e bellissimi da vedere. Che altro dire? Servizio veloce e cordiale, ti senti a casa! La Qualità è alta, e si vede anche dalla preparazione al banco. Prezzo in linea con quello che si ordina. Consigliatissimo!

Best spaghetti I ever had in life

Lo frequento da alcuni anni, è una garanzia per la qualità delle materie prime utilizzate e da sempre una piacevole sorpresa per i piatti proposti. Super consigliatissimo

This was an unpretentious, yet top notch fine dining experience. The food was sophisticated, delicious and beautifully presented at every course. Ambience was comfotable and conducive to conversation. Sevice was friendly and discretely attentive. Good wine selection. One of the best dining out experience we've had in a while. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is extremely atmospheric with plants and pretty lighting, with an excellent music playlist. They have an inner courtyard, an intimate setting with lighting strung all over. We tried a few dishes- all very creative and exciting. The Piedmont beef and fried anchovies were much appreciated. Tiramisu is not memorable. Note that dish portions were small.
