I had an mazing dîner at this Italian gastronomy food restaurant in Trastevere. I also enjoyed the sommelier advices on wine based on the associations I wanted for my main course and desert. I had a quick talk with the chef through her oppened kitchen when I left to thank her, she was very warm, which made me appreciate the overall experience of this evening even more. I recommend.

The restaurant is recommended if you want high quality food. The prices are high.

We just had the most fabulous meal at Piano Strada. We were here two years ago, and enjoyed it so much that we had to return. Our waitress was Iliaria. She is also the sommelier, and is excellent at both duties. She suggested we try the Calanchi Chardonnay, and it was delicious. We had the Fig, prosciutto, and honey bites, and it was just right. Dave also had the croissant bite with tomato and ham, and it disappeared quickly. Dave had the tortelli vignarola, and I had the Iberian plums, off-site, & apples.Both dishes were the best mains we’ve had here in Rome. Our dessert was chocolate, and was wonderful.Ther perfect way to end the meal. The chef has only gotten better, and surpassed herself with this meal. We can’t wait to return!

The best meal I have had in Rome so far. Delicious, adventurous food, good wine list, and a cozy fun atmosphere. Relaxed pace for our meal and attentive and friendly service.

This is my favorite restaurant in the world! The food is extraordinary, the ambiance is magical and watching Paola and her kitchen staff cooking is like art! It’s a family restaurant and you can feel and taste that in every bite. I’m gonna come back to Rome for just this restaurant… wow. Spot at the kitchen bar highly recommend.

I went back two nights in a row. And the second time was even better than the first, which is extremely rare in a restaurant. I sat at the counter both times, facing the open kitchen. What these four women do is simply incredible. Incredibly creative cuisine, perfect ingredients, flawless execution. Each dish tells a story; nothing is left to chance, everything is meticulously planned. But what makes Pianostrada truly unique is the energy of the place. You don't just eat there, you experience a moment. Conversations flow naturally with your fellow diners at the counter, the staff is warm without ever being intrusive, and you can take your time. It's a rare combination of high culinary standards and pure conviviality. Google is missing two stars to do this place justice. If I lived in Rome, I'd be there once a week. Grazie di tutto. Tornerò sicuramente.
