07/10/2025: I've been missing this place for years, but I have to say it's fantastic for a sunset aperitif in Fregene, and the atmosphere is especially natural and relaxing. Highly recommended.

14/09/2025: First time ever eating here. The food is fabulous 👌! I got a sliced steak w/mushrooms... I have never tasted anything like it!!! It was delicious!!! Ron got a Calzone... Very good... we each got some vegetables that were grilled and then served cold with balsamic vinegar and oil... also very tasty... I got a canole... again very good... Ron got a beer and I had bottled water... Total cost: 66 Euros... Wish we lived closer... We even met the owner. Very friendly owner and staff... 5-Stars...

07/09/2025: Seeing the ad on Facebook, I wanted to try it, and... how wonderful it is to still find places like this in southern Rome! We had two delicious pizzas, one with amatriciana and one with onions and Roquefort! The Roman dough was truly good, and the toppings were extremely well-chosen and high-quality. Two beers, a chocolate panna cotta worthy of special mention, and a very good strawberry tiramisu. All for €59! What can I say about the attentive and meticulous service from the two professional and friendly managers! Thanks for the evening!

24/05/2025: So... I order the pizza for home delivery, it arrives burnt, so much so that when I cut it the black part crumbles on the good part. Leaving aside the fact that it was cold (which, well, it's thin, that's okay) I call the pizzeria mortified and apologizing they offer to send me another one. I thank them and think "damn, how cute!". And if the story ended here, everything would be fine. I receive another pizza. This time not burnt but really poor in terms of ingredients. I attach photos of the first pizza and then the second. The first was not generous, but at least there were whole slices of salami. The second had two or three slices of "shredded" salami lying around. I don't know, I was really disappointed :( Very good Ascolane olives though, and good quality of ingredients too... the few that were there.

18/05/2025: Very good bar, found by chance near the holiday home. I have to say that the desserts are very good and the drinks too. I highly recommend. The tables are very nice, they have a glass table with different very nice decorations underneath.

27/08/2025: A simple but genuine restaurant where you feel right at home. The staff is kind and helpful. Rosanna is a perfect, relaxed and always available owner. The food is excellent and the prices are affordable. I also enjoyed the pizzas and they are excellent. It is worth knowing about it.

22/09/2025: Roma Bere Company is the ideal place for meat lovers. The quality of the meats is exceptional, cooked to perfection and accompanied by tasty side dishes. The arrosticini are delicious, flavorful and crispy, a true delight. The atmosphere is welcoming, with professional service. Highly recommended!

22/08/2025: A very characteristic place in the charming village of Sacrofano. We went without a reservation. The service was truly impeccable, and the place was packed. The young woman who served us was excellent. Top-notch crostini, excellent gricia accompanied by a good Chianti. Very competitive prices. Highly recommended. We ate in the cooler basement room with a lovely atmosphere.

20/08/2025: I'm taking the liberty of writing this review because, as a resident of Sacrofano, it's been 15 years or more since I've been to La Scaletta for a bite to eat. We're talking about a restaurant that's been a staple of Roman outings, along with two others from the village. Now, however, the former owner, tired of his job, has handed over the reins to some young but capable guys. That's precisely why I want to write something. High praise is the least I can give: you feel right at home (just like before), the guys are smart and kind, eager to please, the quality is excellent, the pasta is handmade, and among the specials of the day they had grilled mushrooms (porcini and cardonecelli)—I had them twice, amazing! My partner had burrata ravioli with a variety of tomatoes, amazing! You could taste the variety of flavors in every bite. I, on the other hand, had the fettuccine with mushrooms (again)—excellent! Two glasses of Passerina and Ribolla Gialla wine, and we had a wonderful, carefree lunch, just like at home. Next time we'll try the Roman dishes and the meat that the waiter (a nice and smart guy) highly recommended. I may have spent a little more than average because I was crazy about the grilled mushrooms and the Ribolla went down well. Bye.
