I had a wonderful stay and truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. As a pet-friendly hotel, it made both us very welcome. The entire staff was warm and very professional. All of my special requests were taken into consideration, which made my stay even more comfortable. The location is perfect, and the hotel has everything you could need: a beautiful breakfast area, a fantastic rooftop restaurant for dinner, and even a gym for those who want to maintain their fitness routine while travelling. Amazing experience with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Location is great, service is wonderful, and rooms are very nice. Had one problem with a room that was immediately fixed. Bar, included breakfast, and rooftop restaurant were all very nice as well!

I had a truly exceptional stay at Hotel Locarno. From the moment I arrived, everything felt elegant, welcoming, and effortlessly well curated. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with a timeless boutique charm that creates a warm and refined atmosphere. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of style and relaxation. The location is outstanding, just steps from Piazza del Popolo and the heart of Rome, making it ideal for exploring the city while still enjoying a peaceful and sophisticated setting. The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive, always ensuring every detail of the stay was handled with care. I highly recommend Hotel Locarno to anyone visiting Rome. I stayed at the Lorcano for a month for work. It's an beautiful hotel but is made excellent by the staff who are all lovely, friendly, very helpful and really make you feel welcome. The breakfast is excellent too

Wonderful hotel with comfort and charm. Beautiful rooms and ambiance. The breakfast had really high quality and was generous. We had drinks at the bar every day, amazing staff and great drinks. I have stayed at Locarno twice in the past month and loved both times. It is situated in a central but charming area. Would really like to return on our next trip to Rome.

Fantastic hotel and truly my favourite stay in Rome. The property was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The room itself was beautiful, with a perfect blend of historic Art Deco charm and modern comfort. It wasn’t cold in a clean clinical sense, it had a cozy, elegant atmosphere with great amenities, excellent water pressure, very comfortable beds, lovely toiletries, and attentive turn-down service each evening. The thoughtful touches made all the difference, especially the chocolates left by the bed. When I asked for extra, they were more than happy to accommodate. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. When Uber wasn’t working at 4 a.m., the staff immediately helped arrange a taxi, and they also organized a private car to the airport seamlessly. Breakfast was outstanding — a mostly North American–style menu with some of the best scrambled eggs and smoked salmon I’ve had. Everything truly felt five-star. What stood out most was how kind and accommodating the staff were, especially compared to some other hotels and restaurants we experienced in Rome. The hotel was quiet and never overly busy, which made for a very peaceful stay. While some city traffic noise is possible, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to visit the rooftop as it was late October, but that just gives us a reason to return. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
