20/11/2025: We started going there with our 3-year-old son. The atmosphere is excellent the people are very welcoming and we felt at home since the begining! I recommend it to any kid who would like to spend some outdoor time in good company with the bonus of great behavioural examples!

17/04/2026: I've been to Caffè della Scala for five consecutive days, and each time has been a truly pleasant experience. Cesar is undoubtedly the highlight of the place: always kind, professional, and very funny. He has a unique manner that makes you feel immediately at ease and makes every visit special. Always attentive to detail and with a smile, he manages to create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to return. The cocktails are very good, but Cesar's service really makes the difference. 07/05/2026: Room, cleanliness ok I was satisfied the whole time. My colleague and I went as drivers for breakfast when we showed our room number directly from the card to the attendant and she sent us to the table in the direction of breakfast. We put everything on a plate and sat down at the table. Then the attendant came and said that we have breakfast somewhere else and we should move with food and coffee. I would understand if the food was not yet on the plate and everything would have been told to us in time but I really will not run around the hotel with food on a plate when the attendant sent us to this section after showing the card with the number. When we refused they wanted us to pay for breakfast which offended me even more and the restaurant was empty. My colleague paid, not me. Next time watch it and don't make idiots of people at 7 in the morning when the problem is with you. Drivers are taking people to your table so be grateful and normal! If a mistake happens it is polite to let it go and not behave like this.

03/05/2026: Unfortunately, this is NOT a 4 star hotel. The room itself is dated, which is fine as we were on a package holiday. The real issue was cleanliness. Upon arrival, there was a used, dirty towel left on the bedside table, and the towel above the bidet, supposed to be clean, had hair on it. This level of hygiene is unacceptable. The hotel seriously needs to improve its cleaning standards, as it completely put us off of our holiday.

13/03/2026: Tasty pizza, but 4 out of 5 times it's closed. They don't respect the opening and closing times posted on the shutters, nor the ones online. What a shame!

05/06/2026: Wonderful place We arrived the day before the Cremonini concert and we were basically having a fantastic time the day before thanks to the rehearsals. The guys at the osteria were kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. And, most importantly, the food was truly delicious. No doubt about it, a top place!

02/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with excellent dishes and ingredients. The entire staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and strives to satisfy every guest's needs. There's a modest selection of dishes, from appetizers to first courses, to main courses, and even dessert. The ingredients used in all dishes are excellent. The prices are more than fair: a mixed appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, vegetables, and beans, two first courses, homemade fettuccine with wild boar ragù, and ravioli filled with ricotta and vegetables, with zucchini flowers and bacon, house white wine, water, bread, a tart, and two coffees, for a total of €40. Various indoor and outdoor seating are available, and dogs are welcome both inside and outside. Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Congratulations!

04/06/2026: The Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe might be the best Italian dish I’ve ever eaten. It was amazing, really. They’re also AIC certified, and my son’s gluten-free pasta was excellent.

09/03/2026: The service was impeccable, with all the waiters polite and helpful. The dishes we received didn't meet our expectations, from the flavor to the cooking. As a pregnant woman, I specifically asked for a burger well done and only grilled vegetables (the first time it arrived with a lot of salad on the same plate; everyone knows that raw vegetables and raw meat increase the risk of toxoplasmosis). The second time, it arrived visibly raw inside (I asked for it to be cooked a little longer). The third time, I received a completely CHARRED burger. I struggled to cut it; pieces were flying everywhere, and we all laughed about it. The grilled vegetables, offered as a side dish on the menu, were truly meager: three slices of eggplant and three slices of zucchini. My friends' octopus was extremely salty and rubbery, and my companion's spaghetti was inedible. Again, there was a problem with the cooking of my friend's Danish pastry, which was supposed to be medium-well, but she decided not to ask, clearly embarrassed by the burger incident. On the plus side: excellent pinsa, cleanliness of the place, and short wait. And I repeat, the dining room staff was IMPECCABLE. And I appreciated the waitress's willingness to remedy unpleasant incidents with kind and polite manners. I don't usually leave negative reviews—just look at my profile as a local guide—but I think my experience can be helpful.
