Good tavern a stone's throw from the Circus Massimo. Cozy with typical Roman dishes. The pici cacio e pepe is recommended

I had steak and tomato pasta and it was plentiful and delicious.

Best restaurant in Rome. Amazing food, from appetizers to desserts I cannot tell which one was better. Right across the street from Circo Massimo. The atmosphere is sofisticaste but there are very good prices. Staff was amazing. You will never get disappointed. Don’t miss this restaurant if you are in Rome. It is a hit.

What to say? Sublime food, welcoming and aesthetically beautiful place. The tagliatelle with guinea fowl and truffle ragù is a gem. You have to taste the tail bomb. Delicious, carefully selected cured meats. Then to close the meat with a technical knockout. The waiter was very nice and super prepared. Very quick and accurate service. I will be back, I hope you do too!!

After a visit to the legendary Colosseum and Circus Maximus I stumbled on the pavement... my gaze fell on a sign "Osteria CIRCO" the door didn't open properly upon entering I told the owner... but that's the door when you have the carpenter fix it... he replies that it costs too much...It's 2.10pm and the place is full...the answer comes spontaneously. "If it's fabulous"... I agree... to try once in your LIFE...

Location accattivante sulla terrazza all'ultimo piano di un bel hotel romano. Importante la vista anche se dipende dal tavolo che ti viene assegnato. Peccato, però, non ci sia l'alternativa di mangiare al chiuso. Noi abbiamo cenato in una fredda serata romana e il "fungo" e le stufe non erano sufficienti. Non ci siamo potuti togliere i soprabiti e per la cena è una pecca! Servizio gentile, presente e cordiale. Ottima qualità della materia prima. I piatti sono stati un po' altenelanti. Alcuni ottimi, alcuni un po' meno. Nel complesso una bella serata , con musica di sottofondo, ambiente tranquillo ed elegante. Lo consiglio in una calda serata e con una persona speciale al proprio fianco.

Siamo stati a cena venerdì 13 ottobre. Il ristorante si presenta come una terrazza posta all’ultimo piano di un albergo a 5 stelle in una zona storica di Roma, la cui vista al tramonto ed imbrunire è estremamente incantevole, con l’antica Roma a fare da sfondo. Ci hanno offerto un’entrée di benvenuto di crema di zucca, vongole e zenzero, molto sfiziosa. Come antipasto abbiamo ordinato porcini, tartufo, parmigiano e crumble di nocciole salate e come primo piatto Gnocchi di carote viola con cime di rapa, gamberi e limone arrosto. Tutti i piatti erano sapientemente bilanciati con accostamenti insoliti ma sfiziosi. L’unica pecca che vorremmo segnalare è stato il servizio estremamente lento, però a fine serata lo chef è venuto al tavolo a presentarsi e “scusarsi” per il ritardo personalmente, che abbiamo gradito molto. Prezzi giusti per la qualità del cibo proposto e per il fatto che ci troviamo sempre all’interno di un albergo 5 stelle in pieno centro storico. Complimenti al personale e allo chef! Consigliamo l’esperienza a tutti per l’unicità del posto e dell’atmosfera!!
