Overlooking the Circus Maximus, this restaurant offers options for all budgets and palates, serving excellent food. From pizza to focaccia, and even pasta, it's always excellent quality. The interior is beautiful and welcoming. Not just for tourists... highly recommended.

It's my first time here; I went today. And I've never eaten such good lamb!! I had seconds! Perfectly cooked, perfectly flavorful, incredibly tender, fabulous, accompanied by perfectly cooked new potatoes!! The amatriciana was good, but perhaps overcooked; the guanciale on top was fabulous! The creamy carbonara was delicious, the supplì were equally delicious, and the artichokes were a delight! I highly recommend this typical Roman restaurant! There are very few that still cook like this! And thanks also to the waiter Gaetano, who, besides being very professional in his work, is also very nice and friendly! The owner, too! You made a great impression on me and my friends in Naples!!! See you soon!

Great spot, recommend by a local for Roman food near the forum. The meal went down a treat, especially post the marathon! The suppli was excellent, as was the tonnarelli

Delicious, a typical restaurant with many high-quality options, but above all, excellent quantities. The price is average, so it's definitely worth a try.

We arrived without a reservation, but were lucky enough to find a table available. They were very friendly throughout. I ordered the rigatoni carbonara, which was delicious. The focaccia was also very good and crispy. My son ordered the Pico artigianali and said he enjoyed it very much. We were very happy, it's just a shame we didn't have enough appetite for dessert. Definitely a place to recommend and a sure bet.

This restaurant is near the Colosseum. We stumbled upon it by chance, as we were in the area, but it was truly a wonderful discovery. Typical Roman cuisine, very good food, and generous portions. Friendly and helpful staff, a place I highly recommend.

The place is charming and, indeed, reminiscent of some chic trattorias of years gone by. It's also in a great location, near the Circus Maximus, a popular tourist spot. Parking is also available in the evening. In short, there are certainly reasons to go. But there are also reasons not to. The cuisine, Roman albeit slightly revisited (perhaps to please tourists), seemed rushed to me; both the artichokes alla giudia and the gricia seemed rushed; service is quick when there are few customers but (obviously) lacking when the place fills up; finally, there are two tables that shouldn't exist in a restaurant, in front of the almost always open bathroom doors. Of course, there should be bathrooms (although it would be better to keep the doors closed), but it's precisely the tables that shouldn't be there. The prices are average. In short, as I always say, catering is difficult, commenting is certainly easier. Following the owner's reaction, I'd like to clarify that I don't discourage this place at all; in fact, I've highlighted some of its undeniable qualities. My review attempts to be polite and constructive, but if there are any flaws (which can be remedied), they need to be pointed out, especially in the restaurant's best interests. Otherwise, what's the point of reviews?
