Amazing meal, friendly staff. Our second visit in 2 years did not disappoint. We will be back!

The cacio e pepe was amazing! Impeccable yet approachable service, with trained yet friendly staff. Excellent wine and bread, a modern location with a classic touch, featuring vintage photos and soft lighting. The tonnarelli were beautifully firm, but not hard, nor mushy. Excellent quality pecorino cheese. Everything was perfect.

The name makes you pay more for the menu, good pasta but nothing transcendental that you can't find in other excellent Roman taverns. 54 euros for two plates of pasta and a shared dessert, with only water to drink, in short.

They need to do an internship in food flavor and texture with the people at Osteria Tonarello, lol. They think they're all that and deliver a mediocre service with food that's mostly mediocre!

When in Rome, few experiences are more satisfying than sitting down to a plate of beautifully executed traditional pasta, and Felice a Testaccio delivers exactly what you hope to find in one of the city’s most iconic food neighborhoods. The carbonara is superb: rich and creamy without being heavy, with perfectly al dente pasta, the unmistakable intensity of Pecorino Romano, and the savory depth and texture of guanciale. A wonderful expression of one of Rome’s essential dishes. But the cacio e pepe is equally deserving of attention. This deceptively simple Roman classic requires impeccable technique, and here it shines — beautifully coated pasta, plenty of Pecorino, and the fragrant bite of freshly ground black pepper. Simple ingredients transformed into something memorable. Pair either pasta with the house white wine. Its freshness and acidity provide an excellent counterpoint to the richness and saltiness of the dishes, making for a wonderfully balanced meal. Felice a Testaccio captures what makes Roman cuisine so compelling: simplicity, tradition, excellent ingredients, and confident execution. A great address for anyone wanting to experience the authentic flavors of Rome. Recommended.

Historic, beautiful place with top-notch service. Excellent ingredients, though I found the leg of lamb a little undercooked for my taste. I'll have to try it again. The Gricia was top-notch. The Cacio e Pepe was delicious and spectacular. I'll gladly return.

The cacio e pepe was honestly really disappointing, not bad, but not great. Just okay. However, the gricia was really good, so I would definitely recommend that instead of the cacio e pepe. Service was ridiculously slow though, you could tell they were overbooked. Overall just disappointing, if you’re on vacation go somewhere else.

Excellent food & service. Went for lunch. Our Uber driver Francesco recommended this place. Eggplant parm appetizer has to be one of the best parms we’ve ever had. The bread was very crusty on the outside and dense on the inside; tasted so good with their extra virgin olive oil. We also enjoyed their mixed green salad. The greens were very fresh and the heirloom tomatoes were very flavorful. Also ordered the spaghetti with clams-another great dish. The pasta was cooked perfectly ( el dente). My husband ordered the lamb which was a very hearty dish, especially the roasted potatoes that accompanied the dish. Would dine here again in a heartbeat.

Unbelievable experience. The food is EXCEPTIONAL. The staff is very kind. Our server, Joppe, was one of the nicest people we met in Rome. My friend told me to come here, and it did not dissapoint. We ordered the lamb, the meatballs, and the rigatoni gricia. 10/10 all around. Definitely come here to eat dinner on the patio!

If you want to have the real experience of Italian cuisine this is the place to visit. No hotels or tourist guides will tell you about this place, only if you ask Roman residents. I wish I could give them more stars.
