10/07/2026: I discovered this place by chance, but it's truly worth it. The atmosphere is elegant, intimate, and relaxing. The menu is well thought out, and I found all the dishes delicious. The melt-in-your-mouth beef tagliata deserves an honorable mention. The service is super friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

29/04/2026: Finally, in the village of Marzabotto, there's a good restaurant and a comfortable hotel, combined with a bar serving excellent croissants and cappuccinos, served to perfection. In the warmer months, you can be served at tables in the private garden. From appetizers to dessert, Emilian tradition reigns supreme at the restaurant. The first courses are excellent, the lasagna is truly delicious, my favorite, and among the main courses, the wild boar stew and polenta are mouth-watering. The dishes in general are all high-quality, served with kindness and attentiveness. The dining room, not particularly large but therefore intimate, is well-maintained and very clean. The soft music encourages good conversation, as does the wine selection. Excellent value for money... Book, try, and try again! At the MISA restaurant, you eat well and have a great time.

07/06/2026: A beautiful location on a hill, a renovated farmhouse. It would have been 5 stars if the price hadn't been so high. Two first courses, two glasses of wine, two desserts, and a grilled meat dish cost €81, which I think is too much for a farmhouse.

08/08/2026: The place is basic, but that's its beauty. The service is friendly but slow. As for the food, alas, I was disappointed. The much-lauded "crescentona" is actually a fried pizza, large and heavy to digest, nothing like the classic Bolognese crescentine. The tagliatelle with meat sauce are bland, lightly seasoned, and pale in color. The price is fair for the place, perfect for a day trip on hot days.

13/06/2026: Gem of a spot. Hidden down an alleyway, barely visible till you are close enough and very worth it. We were a big group and they were very accommodating for not having a reservation (unlike Trattoria da Me). Got to try a bunch of dishes family style and even some off menu. Standouts were the tortellini in broth, the lasagna, caprese salad and Petroniana style cutlet. Nice little wine selection with after dinner drink options as well. Great find.

04/06/2026: This place is amazing! The atmosphere is very chill, the food is fantastic and the staff is very polite! The food is cooked right in front of you, and it’s served warm. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend!

07/08/2026: Local place for locals. Friendly enough if you're not a native but you do feel the difference. Food is limited so ended up just having drinks and moving on.

04/08/2026: Classic casual place for drinks. Good drinks and list of cocktails. Food was overall fine, simple "bar/pub" food. The only part that was annoying were some of the clients which would play music on loud speaker from the their phones and the staff not saying anything to them.

26/07/2026: Very kind and professional staff. I'd especially like to mention the homemade gluten-free pasta: it's an understatement to call it delicious, and for a celiac, it's a true paradise! More generally, they have a wide-ranging gluten-free menu!

25/07/2026: The bill is only Roman-style, and no exceptions are made. The restaurant still operates on a pen-and-paper basis... which means no one leaves until the table is finished. The pasta dishes are very good, the portions are just right, and the pizza is well-topped. The staff is excellent.

06/07/2026: We were disappointed with the pizza dough; it was stiff, hard to cut, unpleasant to eat, and lacked flavor. The toppings were good, but we were very disappointed with the rest. A shame.

03/06/2026: A phenomenal restaurant tucked away on a side street. We visited on a weekday evening and were shown to the back of the restaurant, where apparently almost everything was reserved. However, we were the only guests there for quite some time. The service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was the best we had in all of Bologna, regardless of whether the Cotoletta Bolognese was served with cream or not. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wine and the complimentary amuse-bouche. The highlight was the dessert, a zuppa inglese, which we highly recommend and which brought back memories of my wife's early Italian holidays. The price-performance ratio is excellent. Thank you so much. We will gladly recommend you.

30/05/2026: I am really sorry that this restaurant did not meet my expectations. The appetizer had a very strange taste, they called it meatball, but it tasted like pressed old bread. The starters were below the level of what you expect from a Bologna restaurant, they were tasteless, and were nothing special. The main courses tasted okay, but okay is just not good enough when pasta is a Bologna specialty. I am sad to have wasted a meal, I could have had better ones elsewhere. We were almost alone in the restaurant, so I do not understand the high reviews. The prices did not match the quality of the food either. However, the service was good. The waiters were nice, smiling and that is why they get one star from me.

10/05/2026: High-quality dishes prepared with excellent ingredients. Classic and seasonal menus, a limited menu which is a great guarantee of fresh produce! Efficient service.

06/05/2026: We were happy to return, and our expectations were confirmed. The food was extremely high quality, the service impeccable, and the prices reasonable (the three-course fish menu is highly recommended). We'll definitely be back!
