The tenerina could be improved, as it was unfortunately quite hard (though the mascarpone cream was really good).

After a wonderful tour of the Putti air raid shelter, we were hungry, so we decided to eat at Osteria Solferino. We called to reserve two seats, and after a 15-minute walk from San Giovanni in Bosco, they seated us at a lovely table near the kitchen, with an old fireplace. We ordered balanzoni, which we shared, followed by a cotoletta alla bolognese, which we always share. For sides, friggione and a small basket of freshly baked bread, sliced with two tigelle. To drink, a bottle of water and a glass of Lacrima di Morro. To finish, a tiramisu and zuppa inglese, both truly excellent. If I had to nitpick, the cotoletta was a bit small and their own interpretation, a little different from the average, but still good. We spent €55.

Very beautiful shop, everything we ordered was delicious, filling with rich flavor, large portions. Polite service with a smile and understanding in English - because we don't know Italian - very very good! Definitely go!
