27/03/2024: We had lunch as a group on a Sunday. We booked for 10 people, including 2 small children. Once we arrived at the restaurant we asked if it was possible to add two seats since two other friends would have liked to join us. The waitress who welcomed us was somewhat annoyed, we understand the difficulty of obtaining additional seats (even if for two and in any case we had a room completely at our disposal), but it was enough to say no considering that the two had not yet reached us. Over the course of lunch, the waiters who followed each other were friendly, including the owner (I assume) who took the order. The waitress who had welcomed us, however, showed great annoyance at our presence and that of the children who in any case did not in any way hinder or burden their work (they ordered dishes from the menu and without changes, they remained in the table room and at outside, they crossed the restaurant to go to the toilet and without running, always holding hands with the adult, they said please and thank you when they addressed the staff). The welcome from the waitress herself culminated when the bill was settled. The final bill was €442. We did not ask to pay for what was consumed individually, but rather to divide the total by 10 paying people (€44.20). At the checkout the famous waitress got even more annoyed, saying that it was our responsibility to find a way to pay the bill (we had done it and we had given her the bill). She complained that this mode made her head explode and drive her crazy. He repeatedly snorted and showed signs of irritation. So, I don't think I was the first group to have had lunch/dinner in their place, so what was the limit? We found the behavior of the maid towards the children, who we governed from start to finish and who consumed, therefore paid and contributed to the financing of her salary, extremely rude and unprofessional. Not even the question of the account balance is professional; I have never found places in my life that did not accept this method (I would have understood if the request had been to make separate accounts with everyone paying for what they had consumed, but this was not the case). In the presence of groups it is difficult for just one person to pay the bill for everyone. Therefore I give one star for the terrible service and treatment that this waitress gave us, to the detriment of her colleagues. If children and groups are not accepted in the restaurant, please indicate it, and we will all be happy, at least you won't ruin our lunch and stay (we came from Pordenone). High prices, somewhat low quantities, cutlet not recommended. Tagliatella is recommended. Good waiting times despite the high number of customers.

12/03/2024: The Italian management had everything available, sweet and savory pastries and bread... lots of stuff. The new Chinese management is reduced to the bare bones, there is nothing left. The cappuccino is also poor. I won't go back. Why are all the bars in Italy becoming Chinese?

08/03/2024: I love this pastry shop/bar/bakery...yes, because Paffè is all three of these things. Small but intimate and in any case the dehors offers space outside, excellent pastries, bread and savory dishes, sometimes I also had lunch, family atmosphere and very friendly staff always with a smile. A breakfast with them turns the day around!!!

15/03/2024: The roasted chicken with fries is delicious…typical Sicilian roasted chicken as found in Sicily. Super recommended especially if you are Sicilian and miss your own homeland

02/02/2024: Sicilian pastry and non-pastry tradition. Unmissable is their spit-roasted chicken, rigorously cooked over a wood fire and seasoned with the typical salmoriglio. I highly recommend it. Now, with a new room, to be able to accommodate some customers, comfortably seated.

07/04/2024: ### Restaurant Review "Without Reservation" We arrived at the "Without Reservation" restaurant unannounced and asked to sit outside. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, demonstrating excellent customer care. The first courses, although beautiful and tasty, did not reach exceptional levels. However, the Bolognese cutlet, despite the price of 20 euros, did not meet expectations. The value for money for such dish could be improved. Overall, the experience at the "Without Reservation" restaurant was pleasant thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and courteous staff. However, some culinary proposals could be revised to guarantee a more satisfying gastronomic experience, 62 euros for two first courses, a second course and a beer and a water is for me a high price compared to other places that offer the same menu.

06/04/2024: Ordering pizza at Taormina is inevitable, good dough and good at cooking. Very friendly and nice staff, always ready to help and fulfill customer requests. Prices normal.

02/04/2024: A well-known place in the area that has always been good for good pizza and good fish for even an impromptu evening. There is room but if there are many it is better to book. Small reserved parking nearby.
