22/07/2025: Returned a year after my first visit, and it was a delicious confirmation! The Roman pizza by the slice is truly delicious, with excellent dough, quality and variety of ingredients, and something for everyone, as they offer pizzas without cheese and with vegetables. Fast, friendly, and attentive service—unsurprising given the large crowd. The pizza is heated in the oven so you can enjoy it hot and crispy. Takeout is available, as well as a few tables inside and outside. Excellent value.

20/07/2025: Pizza romana croccante, con ingredienti ottimi, di qualità e vasta scelta. Il locale all’interno non è molto grande ma è possibile sedersi anche nei tavolini sotto al portico. Il personale è gentile e simpatico, che non guasta mai!

08/07/2025: A top-quality butcher shop with a wide variety of ready-to-cook meats. There's also a well-stocked cured meats, cheese, and bread counter, as well as a small supermarket. All excellent products!

20/07/2025: stumbled upon this place by chance and was absolutely delighted. The service was fast and attentive, with a fantastic selection of traditional Italian pastries and excellent coffee. My top pick: the sfogliatella—perfectly crisp with a delicate filling. I also loved the ricottina, with its cookie-like dough, creamy ricotta filling, chocolate chips, and raisins. Just wow!

30/07/2025: My first meal in Bologna was a wonderful experience full of different flavors than I had tried before, it changed my idea of what Italian food is, we ordered very typical dishes of the city, it was the advice of those who served us and those who took me... the lasagna was nothing like what I had tried before... we liked everything and the lambrusco although it is not the type of wine I prefer allowed us to immerse ourselves in the culture of the city 😋😋😋 excellent recommendation SOLFERINO, also the place is very warm, with good service

19/07/2025: For me, San Carlino is one of the best places in Bologna. A typical osteria, with friendly staff and very carefully prepared dishes. Prices are also reasonable. Last night, we had potato and zucchini flower pie, asparagus and lemon tortelloni, zucchini and speck passatelli, and a Bolognese cutlet with baked potatoes. Drinks included two glasses of red wine and water.

18/07/2025: I had lunch here before continuing my journey to Bologna Airport. Unfortunately, I didn't have time for dessert. Maybe I ran out of room :-) I had: - Fiori di Zucca (I might like it better with a thinner, tempura-like batter) - Balanzoni in salsa verde al parmigiano - Tagliata di Chianina sal grosso e rosmarino and a pineapple salad. Everything was pure, fresh, and delicious! The dry red house wine was also delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful. I would love to go back!

05/07/2025: Only place to eat if not at the HOTEL restaurant, disproportionate quality/price, limited menu and if you ask for an addition they even answer you rudely. Never again, I prefer to go eat at PAM (supermarket). Very rude staff.

29/06/2025: I went to this restaurant for a Sunday lunch with my partner, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the kindness and friendliness of the owners. The mixed grill of fish was excellent! We will definitely be back

17/06/2025: We went for lunch with the family and we had a great time. The menu is fixed, vegetarian options and very importantly they had a special consideration for my celiac son. Large well-kept park with various animals. You can buy various products made by them. Normal price. We will definitely be back

15/08/2025: Very nice place (especially the inside: I'd eaten there in the winter and really appreciated the warmth—not in the sense of temperature, but of "atmosphere"—of the interior; last night, however, I ate outside in a pleasant setting). The food was average: we had some good first courses and an excellent fennel, orange, and Taggiasca olive salad. I wasn't entirely convinced by the reinterpretation of veal with tuna sauce, however: it was a bit too dry and lacked a harmonious blend of flavors. I would have very much enjoyed a cotoletta alla bolognese, but I didn't order it after finding out it would be made with pork (the real cotoletta alla bolognese is made with veal!). I think the prices are a bit high for the food. It's still worth a visit, if only for the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff.
