We were happy to return, and our expectations were confirmed. The food was extremely high quality, the service impeccable, and the prices reasonable (the three-course fish menu is highly recommended). We'll definitely be back!

A young and welcoming place. The menu is varied, with gluten-free options clearly marked. There's also a wide selection. In addition to the menu items, gluten-free bread and pasta are also available. The service is very friendly. The bill is average.

We really appreciated the complimentary olive oil tasting with various types of bread. The first courses were excellent, and the "sbagliata" cutlet (a very good variation of the Bolognese cutlet) was excellent. The staff was welcoming, courteous, and professional.

I've been there twice, and both times I had a great time. The restaurant is well-regarded, the staff are friendly, and the tasting menu is spectacular, plentiful, and delicious. I'd gladly return.

A 5-star neighborhood restaurant—where can I find it? In Bologna's Savena neighborhood. A lovely, intimate place with excellent, soft music. An inviting menu and a remarkable wine list! The owner and waitress are excellent! Congratulations, guys! Keep it up! We need more sincere places like yours!

We went here for lunch for Valentine's Day. We highly recommend the restaurant, with a Bolognese menu, but "wrong," as they call it! Traditional dishes, but with their own twist, making them super special! We stumbled upon it by accident, but we'll almost certainly be back!! The staff was excellent, super helpful!

We went for lunch today, and I have to compliment you because I had a really good meal. The place is small but very well-organized, the waitress was very welcoming and kind, the owner was very professional and also very kind, and finally, I'd like to give a big compliment to the chef. The dishes were excellent, beautiful to look at, but above all, very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

10/02/2026: A very welcoming restaurant in Altedo, located inside a large farmhouse, surrounded by spacious grounds, a garden, and a pool. The staff are young and friendly, fast, and welcoming. We had lunch on a delightful, light-filled veranda with a checked tablecloth, a must in the best trattorias. The Bolognese menu offers a wide selection. We ordered a taglierini (a thin slice of cured meat) for two with pinzini (small crescentine-shaped pasta), a tartare with slow-cooked egg, capers, olives, and mustard, and a tagliata (a thin slice of beef) with sauce, baked potatoes, and fried porcini mushrooms. The Poggio ai Ginepri red wine from the Argentiera di Bolgheri winery was a great discovery. We finished with a millefeuille and a semi-passito (a kind of dessert) and coffee. We had a wonderful time, even being watched by a beautiful, very well-behaved poodle at the next table, who we later discovered was the manager's dog. Beautiful day, great music. We'll be back!
18/01/2026: I really enjoyed the food overall. It fully satisfied my refined palate, especially the Fassona Hangus steak, an absolute delicacy. Excellent service, friendly staff. A well-maintained, homely atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

17/01/2026: If, like me, you're only in Bologna for one night, come to dinner at Vecchia Bottega and fill up on delicious food, excellent wine, and lovely people! Not knowing what to choose, I ventured a request, which was greeted with a smile. I came for the tagliatelle, and then I ordered a platter, two first courses, and dessert. Everything was excellent, like home-made, but even better because the atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. Even though I was alone, I felt like I was part of the whole place. The tiramisu is special. My week of Italian vacation ends beautifully and sweetly!
17/01/2026: Excellent food, a wide selection of excellent wines. Courteous, relaxed, welcoming, professional, and highly competent staff.
