30/08/2025: Attention, dinner review: this is no longer the old management of the starred restaurant. This is very nice news. Here on Google, it's still listed as a restaurant, but they've reopened as an osteria. This osteria, besides having a good social project (try going to find out), has truly brought back the meaning of osteria to me. Why? First: the atmosphere is always beautiful and elegant, with outdoor space as well. The kitchen is well-kept and clean (I think it's the same one used by the previous chef). In the dining room, there are traditional wooden tables and comfortable chairs, a warm atmosphere, and they even have a lovely fireplace for the winter. Second: You can converse freely and understand the staff's explanations because they've kept ample space between the tables (I hope they don't change their minds like some restaurateurs do). The menu isn't extensive, with just a few dishes, but with the distinctive ethnic cuisine. The fish option isn't always available; it's best to ask in advance. Reservations are appreciated, but weren't necessary as there were several free tables. Let's get to the service, which is osteria-style, with a "parananza" (a typical Italian dish) and staff wearing t-shirts like true innkeepers. The staff lacks experience and dining room knowledge, but they demonstrate enthusiasm and pleasure in serving. The wine list offers a few options, but the osteria wine is also good. The ethnic menu offered is worth a try; it's plentiful and will fill you up. The guinea fowl dish is beautifully presented (pictured). The fried food could be improved upon in terms of cooking...very dark. The price is fair and reasonable for the area. Good work, guys, I'll be back. Free parking in the area, 150 meters away.

22/04/2025: Chocolate is a journey through time, every bite takes you back to when you were a boy, but finding such sublime quality assembled with the skill of a master pastry chef is a rarity. My travels through time with the Fagiolo Piero pastry shop and chocolate shop are quite frequent and are an alternation between chocolate and wonderful cakes. The owners know how to satisfy all tastes with extreme professionalism, even those of the most demanding palates. Highly recommended pastry shop.

08/09/2025: Quaint restaurant, perfect food, and changes were no problem. From our table, we could see into the kitchen; the work was clean and professional. The chef came to explain the food to us, and the server was very accommodating! The raw seafood was very fresh!

07/09/2025: We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. We ordered the octopus tentacles and the fish ravioli with shrimp sauce, followed by the Tiramisu , and every dish was outstanding. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere and the people. Our server was incredibly friendly, even though we didn’t share a language, his smiles and hand gestures made everything clear and welcoming. The chef, who spoke fluent English, checked in with us often, shared great recommendations, and even offered us a digestive wine after our meal. What impressed us most was his honesty. In most restaurants, you feel pressured to order more. When I asked about adding a third dish, he suggested we first try the two we had ordered and then see if we were still hungry. That kind of genuine care, making sure we enjoyed our meal rather than pushing for more, is what makes this place truly special. P.S. Don’t miss their pistachio liqueur. it's unforgettable! P.S.S. 27/08/2025: Amazing lunch! Very good dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. We were welcomed without any problem even though it was 2:30 PM. Giuseppe served us and explained each dish with passion and professionalism.

24/08/2025: It was supposed to be a quick lunch before continuing the journey home, but instead it turned out to be a long and delightful stop! Giuseppe is truly a host like no other; his passion for his work and for food captivates and overwhelms you! Always smiling, professional, and attentive to his customers' needs. He's keen to let them know that his dishes are 0 km, or rather... 0 km, which you can taste in every bite! The appetizers are varied and incredibly generous. The first courses are a delight, thanks to his mother's skilled and expert hands and the goodness of the produce from their garden. The desserts are also top-notch; we had a tart with orange marmalade and chocolate, a true delight! By the end of the meal, we were talking like old friends; we felt like we were at a friend's house—a truly wonderful culinary and human experience. Thank you, Giuseppe. See you soon. 23/08/2025: Words are not enough to described wat we experienced, from the arrival to the departing was an another world experience, we tasted 4 wines with an entry, a mous bouche from the chef, two main courses and a desert to share and some sweet wine!! And it was out of this world...expensive but worth it

13/08/2025: Una volta giunti nella bellissima cornice del Borgo di Badia a Passignano, ed avendo gustato con gli occhi il paesaggio incantevole di manieri e vigneti, vi consiglio una pausa culinaria presso l'Osteria di Passignano dove gustare prelibati piatti toscani innaffiati da un buonissimo rosso del Chianti.

08/09/2025: The quality of the food and wine pairing was exceptional. Hard to fault the service, it was very welcoming. There was a really unfortunate incident with a cracked wine glass and being served sparkling water when I asked for still but the important things were great!

29/07/2025: Wonderful restaurant in Cagliari. We had the lasagna, the salad, and the zambaione cream for dessert. Everything was made with love and super fresh. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it!
