24/06/2026: A wonderful moment shared together. We were lucky enough to enjoy some excellent Italian wines accompanied by a platter of charcuterie and cheeses with mango and ginger jam. I highly recommend it.
18/06/2026: We came in based on the reviews and can only confirm what those who preceded us said. You immediately feel at home, the wines are excellent and the menu simple but truly delicious. We tried both impeccably served white wines and reds. The freselle, both with tomato and vegetables, were excellent. The charcuterie and cheese platter was excellent, and since we didn't like it at all, we decided to try the prosciutto with burrata as well. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by Paco's; I'm sure you won't regret it.

Returning to Antica Osteria da Cera was much more than sitting in a two-Michelin-star restaurant for me: it was returning to a place where cuisine, memory, sea, and vision meet with a rare ease.
I ate divinely. Each dish spoke of a cuisine crafted with absolute precision, yet never cold: supreme technique, extraordinary ingredients, elegance, depth, and a marine sensibility that only comes from those who truly know fish, respect it, and know how to transform it without betraying it.
From pasta to fish, from shellfish to bread, from the dining room details to the most essential small steps, everything communicates one thing: here, we don't seek effect, we seek the truth of flavor.
For me, it was also a special evening on a personal level: I chanced upon a loved one whom I hadn't seen in 10 years, and I had the pleasure of reuniting with Chef Lionello Cera, with whom I had the honor of collaborating in the past. Rediscovering that human, as well as professional, quality made the experience even more intense.
Antica Osteria da Cera is one of those places where you understand that great Italian dining isn't just about cooking: it's about family, territory, discipline, identity, and continuity.

04/08/2026: Located in the heart of San Gimignano, you might think it's just another tourist-oriented restaurant. Quite the opposite. The young chef, with experience in high-end settings, offers cuisine that's deeply rooted in tradition but crafted with expert knowledge of techniques and ingredients. All this is topped off by an equally young and very kind maître d' who knows what needs to be done. I was truly pampered! P.S. The hazelnut dessert with extra virgin olive oil, salt, basil, and peach is a must-try.

20/05/2026: Finally, the first good restaurant I found in the region. There are so many restaurants but many are very touristic and food is mediocre.
The food here was delicious and tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was warm. A place I would come back to if I lived in the area. It can become a long meal if you order many courses as it’s run by a small team. We had nowhere else to be though and enjoyed the experience. Try to make a reservation to avoid disappointment! Or come early at opening and hope for a last minute table.
18/05/2026: The lady who welcomed us was very kind and welcoming. The octopus with zucchini alla poverella was truly delicious. 🔝 Excellent experience.

Andrea welcomes you, a delightful and very kind person who makes you feel at home right away. And then the food, the aromatic herbs gathered in the countryside, the exquisite composition of the dishes, the warmth of the lights, the intoxicating aroma of each course are a treat for all the senses. Dining there is like taking an imaginary journey. Andrea describes every course perfectly, you savor it even before you begin tasting it. He exudes love and dedication. It's not just a simple restaurant, it's warmth, joy... love for one's homeland.
And then there's Barbara, also a very sweet person, her smile lights up her face, they are a fantastic couple. 💞 I will definitely be back and it will be beautiful... I'm sure of it. 💖 Thank you so much for this wonderful experience, I carry you in my heart. 💖

10/08/2026: A truly memorable evening at Osteria di Passignano. We started with a fascinating tour of the historic cellars, followed by an excellent tasting menu with beautifully matched wines. The food was exceptional, but it was the combination of the setting, the wine, the service and the sense of history that made the evening feel so special.
The wine shop is a treasure trove of wonderful vintages many not available for general retail sale. Well worth a splurge.
A wonderful Tuscan experience and one we’ll remember for a long time.

27/07/2026: A handmade burger joint that feels authentically local. Since they make the burgers to order, the bread is perfectly toasted and the meat is fresh. It’s not worth coming all the way to Pienza just for this place, but it is a restaurant worth visiting if you are in the city.
Since seating is limited, you might have to get takeout.

14/06/2026: After booking months in advance, and at the culmination of a trip to northern Italy with my Belgian girlfriend, we finally had lunch at Centro in Priocca. The atmosphere was sublime, the welcome phenomenal, and we truly felt pampered and at home. The traditional Piedmontese tasting menu left us literally speechless; dishes like the Russian salad or the reinterpretation of bread, butter, and anchovies in the shape of agnolotti del plin were breathtaking. My girlfriend and I had a culinary experience of the highest caliber, and our recommendation is to come to Elide and let yourself be pampered by her cuisine. A huge thank you and applause to the many staff, waiters, waiters, and sommeliers who guided us on this journey, demonstrating incredible professionalism, including having to explain the dishes and wines first in Italian and then in French so that my girlfriend could fully understand the entire process. You were truly phenomenal, and we will definitely be back.
Thank you for this wonderful experience.
28/05/2026: A place worth visiting, I'd say. The cuisine is well researched, without the hateful need to surprise, thus never falling into the unrealistic. For a first visit, I recommend the tasting menu (€125); you'll leave with a clear idea of the strong points and the small imperfections. Excellent selection of champagnes. Well done, but above all, the chef.

Italian cuisine just as we've always dreamed of it!
Home-style cooking with quality ingredients.
Special mention for the lasagna (absolutely divine!), the homemade mozzarella, and the charcuterie.
The tiramisu is exceptional, as is the lemon cake!
A must-visit, and a huge thank you again to the owner and his wife for their hospitality.

02/05/2026: We had an amazing evening with great, attentive service and a very well rounded menu with some particular highlights
Chef Stefano also came to the tables multiple times, which added to the very good hospitality and experience as a whole.
The wine list is also something to look forward to.
All in all one of the best experiences in a star restaurant we ever had, we will definitely come back again.
