09/04/2026: I found a specific bottle of wine in this shop, but they gave me a vintage that had already gone bad. This is something a wine shop should know. They also charged me double the price. It's a shame, as they did have a nice collection.

06/04/2026: The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Carlo takes you inside and explains everything about every product he serves (all of his own production). A family-run business that makes you feel at home. We were offered a homemade amaro (also homemade) and a complimentary bottle of water. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat well and feel at home.

06/04/2026: Last night, returning from two days in Umbria over the Easter weekend, the four of us found ourselves enjoying one of those experiences that came about completely by chance... but are hard to forget. After a beautiful bike ride along the Spoleto-Norcia stretch, during our sandwich stop, we realized something rather obvious: finding a restaurant open for Easter dinner without a reservation would be a feat. In fact, after calling at least 15 restaurants—all open only for lunch—we had one last option: La Primula. We didn't look at reviews, we had no expectations. I called. On the other end, a shrill voice said, "Sure, I have room for four, I'll see you this evening!" And so, almost on a bet, we decided to go. We arrived in front of the restaurant and, I have to be honest, our impressions were mixed: from the outside, it didn't even look like a restaurant. But as soon as we stepped inside, we found ourselves in a timeless, authentic, almost suspended environment. Carlo welcomed us. He leads us to the table, and we look around: few people, a quiet atmosphere. Then the menu arrives, written in pen on a sheet of straw paper... and then something changes. Because then Carlo arrives, and magic happens. An incredible character, one of those who seem to have stepped out of a novel. One of those you have to choose to believe in to be transported by his stories: the life of a shepherd, the life in the inns, experiences, stories, pieces of life that intertwine with what arrives on the plate. And in the dishes, there's all this. Behind the stove is his partner, a woman you wouldn't expect at first glance, but who actually has expert hands, like those of true old-fashioned cooking. A mastery reminiscent of that of grandmothers, made of confident gestures, experience, and a love for what she prepares. Authentic cuisine, without frills, direct. Portions like you don't see anymore. Real flavors, which Carlo describes with such passion that they become even more delicious. A place frozen in a different time, far from the frenzy of everyday life. We'll definitely be back. Because more than a dinner, it was an experience. And because a little bit of Carlo... stays with you.

14/04/2026: A magnificent experience in every way. On the recommendation of some colleagues, we discovered this restaurant and can say without hesitation that it is truly excellent, distinguished by its quality, elegance, and customer service. The location is splendid, and the warm and refined atmosphere makes the experience even more enjoyable. Being in the center of Perugia, parking is not the easiest thing to find, but I recommend the Saba Piazza Partigiani car park, which is easily accessible via escalators; from there, it's a truly pleasant walk. The telephone reservation was quick and handled with great courtesy. The service, impeccable from start to finish, deserves special mention: the waiters were competent, discreet, always attentive, and capable of guiding the customer with precise and interesting explanations of the dishes. The cuisine is simply extraordinary. The truffle-based dishes were excellent, prepared with great care, balance, and quality ingredients. You can sense a great passion for cooking and an authentic attention to detail. Each course was a true pleasure, truly memorable. A high-end restaurant that combines professionalism, hospitality, and truly memorable cuisine. Sincere compliments to the entire staff for their work, which is evidently passionate and highly skilled. A place absolutely worth a visit, and one we will be delighted to return to.

12/04/2026: Food and service were amazing. We had dinner there and we had so many options of food with black or white truffles. Totally recommend it. Tartar and beef fondue were put of this world 😍

16/04/2026: Historic restaurant and hotel. It is located in the center of Norcia. Managed with love and passion. The atmosphere is elegant yet warm and welcoming. The food is magnificent and presented with taste and elegance. The staff is kind and friendly. I don't know if it was a coincidence, but the atmosphere in the dining room was particularly pleasant, as if, even though everyone was alone, there was a sense of togetherness in sharing the moment, inviting a nod, a smile, a word. I was happy to be here. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

09/04/2026: The place is truly beautiful and charming, but in my opinion it's way too big. They've packed too many tables into the smaller rooms, and the echo of voices was a bit annoying. ​On a positive note, the service was quick, very kind, and very friendly. ​As for the food, the portions were generous, but unfortunately the quality didn't entirely convince me; it lacked that extra something. Ultimately, the price seemed a bit high and not quite commensurate with what we ate.

04/04/2026: It doesn't disappoint. Excellent hotel, clean and comfortable rooms with wooden furnishings. The staff is friendly and helpful, even with their wine selection. The restaurant serves delicious and delicious dishes, and there's also a cheese and vegetable buffet. The spa is also very nice, with a pool, massage options, and a lovely area with a sauna, hydromassage, and Turkish bath. The shuttle service to the ski slopes is also convenient. Recommended.

From the location... to the 90-km produce, carefully prepared and typical Umbrian dishes, to the excellent service and kindness of the staff. If I were the owner... I'd add €10 for a table with a panoramic view! 🫣 Overall, superlative rating!

05/04/2026: We had a seafood lunch on Easter Sunday with a lovely view of the lake. The staff was super friendly and attentive despite the crowd! The food and ingredients were top-quality! A place we'll definitely return to!

10/04/2026: The garden is beautiful, well-kept with plants and colorful, uniquely crafted lava stone tables. The brickwork throughout makes the atmosphere even more welcoming. The interior is also fantastic, with a charming and characterful dining room. The staff is truly helpful, and the food is delicious: it's definitely not a touristy place, despite the very reasonable prices. And it's worth noting: it's just 50 steps from the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi.

10/04/2026: I couldn't believe it: so close to the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, just 50 meters away, there's such a beautiful structure. Evocative interiors with carved rock, a magnificent garden outside, and truly beautiful lava stone tables. Luckily, I took the advice: I came and had a truly wonderful meal.

12/04/2026: We ate an excellent pizza, cooked to perfection and with excellent ingredients, in the heart of Assisi, highly recommended.

08/04/2026: I came back here again to enjoy the great food and atmosphere. We came at lunch time, where we waited a little longer for our food, but we must say that we all enjoyed ourselves. The fresh fish was amazing.....the homemade pasta tasted like grandma's and everything was just great. I will definitely come back here again when I pass by.

28/02/2026: I have been to Ristorante Stella a number of times over the last 4 years. The food is always excellent, the service is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. Last night I had the carcoifi fritti, ossobucco, panna cotta and a wonderful Raina white wine. I could not have asked for a better dinner. For the first time I also stayed in one of their rooms, which was above the restaurant. The bed was possibly one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a fun/interesting design. I highly recommend both their rooms and the restaurant!

01/02/2026: We had lunch with our entire football team ⚽ Ponte Vecchio which plays in the Umbria Excellence championship. We ate very well, everything homemade, truly exceptional. 02/04/2026: We stopped for lunch on our way to Orvieto. The menu changes daily and includes artisanal crescia; today it was gnocchi with ragù, grilled meat, and spinach. We also had gratinated vegetables. Everything was delicious, and the price was fair. Well done!
