09/08/2026: A very interesting visit to the ham factory. San Daniele production is still almost entirely artisanal. We had an excellent lunch, where we tasted the various cuts of San Daniele, the speck from the thigh, and the salami produced at the ham factory. €64 for two (without wine). Recommended.

05/07/2026: We visited this pizzeria during our vacation and were thrilled. The pizza was exceptional. The service was superb; the staff accommodated our every request, even when we had a small emergency during dinner (I'm pregnant and the table next to us started smoking, so we asked to be moved inside). They responded to everything with care and helpfulness. The bill was absolutely reasonable, and the atmosphere was perfect. Truly 5 stars!

30/07/2026: So much anticipation, so much travel to get there, the special appetizer even made us mop up the bread, even though it was a long wait... Besides the endless wait, the main courses were a disaster. One dish in particular was a disaster. I don't know if it was a mistake in the portion size or not, but I couldn't eat it, obviously, and I reported it immediately... I wouldn't have, nor even wasted time writing a review if it weren't for the very rude response from the "kind" young lady. It's a real shame. Anyway, I'll come back next time, but I'll stop at the osteria right beforehand.

14/07/2026: Family lunch, We enjoyed some good fish, but didn't feel like cooking. This is our first time at PESCE D'ORO in Monfalcone, a bit far for us Udine natives, but the family-run restaurant and the quality of the fresh fish make the trip worthwhile. Signora Margherita is like an orchestra conductor, keeping everything running smoothly, and the result is simple yet flavorful dishes. The final price is more than fair. We'll definitely be back.

I've known Luca and Umberto for years, and it's always a pleasure to see the passion with which they continue to run this special place. The appetizer tasting is simply out of this world: a constantly changing array of local flavors, always executed to perfection. The wine Luca recommended was also excellent, a wonderful discovery I hadn't heard of. To finish, the desserts were amazing, and the ever-present grappas. There are restaurants where you eat well, and then there are places like this, where quality, hospitality, and friendship come together to create something special. 31/05/2026: An oasis in the desert!! Expertly prepared ravioli with stew and venison ossobuco, impeccable service, a very extensive wine list, and exceptional kindness and attention. It was just what we needed after a long ride!

There isn't much seating so be prepared to stand, don't let that put you off this place as it adds a special charm and atmosphere. The price is very fair and the food is delicious, something for everyone. There are also numerous wine and drink options.
