22/04/2026: We booked this restaurant based on the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. The very kind chef offered us a truly excellent all-fish menu. He prepared hot and cold appetizers, followed by calamarata, and for the shared main course, a truly delicious sea bass with artichokes. The fried sweets filled with sheep's milk ricotta were delicious, as per Sardinian tradition. The house white wine from a local producer was excellent. The bill was €55 per person.

A must-visit every year in Sardinia...despite the challenging road and the small village, nothing stops us 😁 The ingredients are excellent and the dishes are prepared to perfection. The owners' care and attention are an added pleasure that constantly renews itself! Very good!
Recommended for families and couples.
12/07/2026: Excellent dinner: octopus, tagliolini with squid ink, clams and bottarga, fried mazza frissa meatballs, rabbit roll, and a coffee cream sauce, all delicious.
The perfect combination: good food and a warm welcome. We'll be back!

13/06/2026: Before the ferry to Civitavecchia, I was looking for a non-touristy pizza by the slice. A Sardinian blog mentioned Al Ciclope pizza, and we tried it:
- Quick and friendly.
- The place is small but has shelves and a few stools; outside, there are plastic tables and chairs.
- Only one type of pizza: Margherita! And that's it! You heard right: pizza sold by the slice, each for €1.80.
Only Margherita, with a black olive on each slice.
Good, hot, crispy, worth a try.

I had to dine alone and came to this place on the recommendation of my host. I hadn't booked, but the owner found me a table anyway. The place is tiny, which is the best thing about it. Intimate and a little noisy, yet cheerful, I felt right at home!
The food was sublime. For an appetizer, I ordered the house cured meats and cheeses, delicious, and for a main course, the culurgiones with guanciale. The service was attentive and authentic; the heart of Gallura was there. The myrtle liqueur they produce is a must.
17/07/2026: A wonderful discovery we stumbled upon during our visits to the various archaeological sites in the area. Osteria del Borgo is a small treasure trove that showcases the flavors of a spectacular region rich in history and tradition. The food is masterfully prepared by Chef Pierpaolo and well explained by Rita, his assistant. The Culurgiones are exquisite, not to mention the Sardinian desserts. Definitely worth returning for more ☺️

The waitress is very friendly, and the service is fast. The best recommendation is that many locals come here for takeout pizza. I recommend it!

05/05/2026: A magical place discovered during a group motorcycle trip.
A haven of pure peace where the scents of the surrounding nature still fill the air, where people welcome you like family, and where you're surprisingly surrounded by culture as well as beauty.
Excellent food (a delicious vegan menu made especially for me despite there being so many of us), impeccable hospitality, spacious rooms.
A stop not only recommended but a must if you want a rejuvenating stay for body and soul!
01/05/2026: Wonderful place. Delicious food, and lots of it. Beautiful and clean rooms. Fantastic, helpful, and highly knowledgeable staff. The excursion was beautiful, and it was a real pleasure to listen to the owner's stories and explanations. The visit to the diorama museum was also very interesting, and again, everything was explained to us in a thorough and entertaining way by the guide, the owner's daughter. I highly recommend it if you want to spend a day or a weekend in nature, enjoying good food, and relaxing.
