20/06/2026: Every time is like the first. Quality, kindness, and an incredible taste!!

20/06/2026: Opera is a lovely restaurant with a warm intimate atmosphere, wonderful friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. We stopped here on our first night in Bari and would definitely come back again. Sea bass was grilled perfectly with a sweet side salad, steak strips with salad was tender and juicy, with a rich buttery sauce and mushrooms with creamy mash was hearty and filling. Despite language differences the staff were incredibly helpful and even surprised us with a birthday sparklers and rendition of "Tanti auguri a te", happy birthday, which made the evening even more special. 24/06/2026: A wonderful moment shared together. We were lucky enough to enjoy some excellent Italian wines accompanied by a platter of charcuterie and cheeses with mango and ginger jam. I highly recommend it.

18/06/2026: We came in based on the reviews and can only confirm what those who preceded us said. You immediately feel at home, the wines are excellent and the menu simple but truly delicious. We tried both impeccably served white wines and reds. The freselle, both with tomato and vegetables, were excellent. The charcuterie and cheese platter was excellent, and since we didn't like it at all, we decided to try the prosciutto with burrata as well. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by Paco's; I'm sure you won't regret it.

15/05/2026: Lots of appearances, but little substance. Unfortunately, the meal was marred by the incessant barking of a dog, ignored by both the owners and the restaurant staff. It was almost impossible to speak, and the space was so small and stuffy that the only thing left to do was run away, as the poor dog would have wanted... Since it's incredibly expensive, it's not worth the risk.

20/05/2026: Finally, the first good restaurant I found in the region. There are so many restaurants but many are very touristic and food is mediocre. The food here was delicious and tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was warm. A place I would come back to if I lived in the area. It can become a long meal if you order many courses as it’s run by a small team. We had nowhere else to be though and enjoyed the experience. Try to make a reservation to avoid disappointment! Or come early at opening and hope for a last minute table.

31/05/2026: The Melanzane was wonderful. The sea bass carpaccio had a slight odor. The pasta was very good, but we couldn't eat the shrimp in it. Don't even try the Tiramisu. It's just espresso poured over biscuits and topped with cream. It was terrible.

I chose this wonderful masseria as a dinner gift for my mother and her friends, won over by the photographs of the dishes, which already hinted at an authentic, carefully prepared cuisine deeply rooted in the local area. At the end of the evening, she called me. Her voice spoke for itself: she was happy. She immediately said, "You absolutely must leave a review, because a place like this deserves to be known." She told me about the welcome she received, the extraordinary kindness of the staff, and the family who runs the masseria with a passion evident in every detail. Impeccable service, never intrusive, made of sincere attention that is increasingly rare these days. But the greatest compliment is another. My mother is a person with very demanding tastes. She prefers simple, authentic cuisine, prepared with quality ingredients and authentic flavors. It's difficult to surprise her, even more difficult to excite her. And yet, tonight, they succeeded. Her stories conveyed not only appreciation for excellent dishes, but also the thrill of having enjoyed an experience that left a lasting impression. When a cuisine manages to convey respect for the ingredients, a love of tradition, and care for each guest, then it's no longer just good food, but genuine hospitality. Before hanging up, she entrusted me with a single mission: to advise everyone not to leave without trying the licorice panna cotta. In her words, it was a simply unforgettable dessert. Thank you for turning a simple dinner with friends into a precious memory. There are places you visit and places you take home with you. From what I've heard this evening, your masseria undoubtedly belongs to the latter category.

30/04/2026: What can we say? For us, Don Angus means trust, consistently guaranteed quality, and the wonderful feeling of being at home. The star of the show is, of course, the top-quality meat, but a special mention goes to the service, always attentive and courteous, capable of accommodating every request with utmost professionalism. We absolutely recommend it!

We've been stopping by to say hello to the owner for years now when we're in the area. The cuisine is top-notch. The dishes are meticulously selected, both in terms of ingredients and presentation. 04/06/2026: We came across this restaurant by accident but what a pleasure it was! A definite must visit when in Tricase! The owner Antonio is so passionate about his restaurant and the food, cooked by his mother, is absolutely amazing!

04/06/2026: Antonio is super enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. He uses a translate app for those guests who don’t speak Italian. They don’t have white wine by the glass, but the rose, despite its colour, was a good alternative. The polpette (meatballs) and aubergine were delicious starters. The beef and pasta very tasty mains. Homemade bread .. so nice. “Mamma” was doing the cooking. Absolutely worthy a visit.
