29/07/2024: Flavors of typical dishes with local nuances. In general, we were satisfied and even impressed. Anna, who was greeting visitors (as we learned from other reviews), seemed quite tired in the evening, so I will in no way criticize the decent wait for boarding, the menu, and the order itself. The menu is only in Italian - translated through a translator. The cheese platter turned out to be completely unconventional - definitely with local flavor. The type of pasta is probably homemade. But everything is delicious! Thanks for the new experience!

18/08/2024: Historic place. Kind and attentive staff. Super food, I ate very well. Prices a little high but quality of food high.

18/08/2024: Quiet and refined place... we had dinner on the external veranda... super hospitality and courtesy of the staff, with a smile that feels like family, welcome from the cocotte cuisine with aubergine caponata with foam and crunchy cheese crumbled on top... frico dinner with amazing polenta, (really strong) and a stratagliata with gramolada sauce and aubergine caponata... 😋

26/08/2024: When I can, I return to "Al Fogolar" in Verzegnis, where competence and kindness in the service are at home but above all the quality and research of the dishes offered is excellent and constant over time; although I rarely go there because I don't live in Friuli, I always find something new and captivating on the menu that stimulates my curiosity and their ability to revisit traditional recipes makes them a place worthy of a stop if only for the unparalleled quality/price ratio. If you're in those parts it's a shame don't stop!

24/08/2024: Locale accogliente, personale gentile e professionale. Piatto di affettati di alta qualità. Di secondo, buonissimo il frico sia friabile che classico. Ottima la tagliata, buono il pollo con pancetta. Da sottolineare che non fanno pagare il coperto ed il pane. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato.

01/09/2024: Beautiful location, very professional and trained staff. Maybe..... and I mean maybe... the first courses could be improved a little..... the Blecs, too strong like basil, covered the goose ragù, while the gnocchi with black garlic, too sweet and sour, I seemed drowned in a glaze of vinegar... For the rest excellent meat. Prices so so......

19/08/2024: Where to start? We stopped by after an evening at the cinema and ended the evening on a high note! Delicious pizzas with soft and well-cooked dough. Friendly staff. Clean environment even a little small (but it doesn't matter). Congratulations Rispopizza!

23/08/2024: A beautifully converted old railway station into a restaurant on the cycling route through the Kanalska dolina. Prices are normal. A great stop for cyclists.

Everything we ordered was super delicious! The beer (Friolian wheat, unfiltered) went perfectly with the food. 27/07/2024: B&B molto bello del Friuli, posto molto accogliente grazie soprattutto a Stefania e Jacopo, ospitali e gentili. Cibo tipico cucinato con cura, camere pulite e complete di tutto, in un contesto ricavato da una elevata ristrutturazione. Consiglio vivamente, da tornarci assolutamente.

10/08/2024: Nice and comfortable environment, Mrs. Ilaria "tells" the menu so well that you would like to listen to her again, wide choice of wines, excellent food presented impeccably. Good desserts and a little alternative to the usual ones. Highly recommended
