05/05/2026: Excellent traditional Friulian dishes. We booked this restaurant during a trip to the mountains... a great choice! The place is clean and the staff are friendly. Each course was well described, and we found the presentation to be pleasing. The desserts were exquisite. The price was reasonable for the menu.

13/04/2026: I was looking for a restaurant close enough to Villa Manin, and Google suggested Il Piron dal Re. Inspired by the excellent reviews, my friend and I decided to give it a try, and we weren't disappointed!
The location is welcoming and well-maintained. The owner, very friendly, was friendly and always ready to offer advice.
We ate divinely.
We'll definitely be back.
The price was in line with the quality of the product.
5 well-deserved stars.

20/06/2026: This morning I had a Neapolitan breakfast... I ate a sfogliatella and drank a coffee and for a moment I felt like I was in Naples... and that's why I came back for lunch and also enjoyed a super Neapolitan sandwich and a good spritz.

21/05/2026: A small, charming trattoria/pizzeria in the center of Udine. The food was very good! Only the "roast beef al inghilterra" was surprisingly cold (as a second course, I had expected something warm!). The meat was very good, just a bit dry, as it was served only with arugula and Grana Padano. Perhaps a rémoulade sauce would have helped! Otherwise, good value for money. We each had an antipasto, a second course, and a dessert (very good!), along with a glass of sparkling wine in a carafe (also very good – no headache the next day!).
At the end, we were treated to a glass of limoncello, a very nice gesture from the restaurant!

And a large, impressive selection of dry-aged beef in a large refrigerator.
17/05/2026: A lovely place in the center of Udine. Excellent pizza, light and easy to digest. Lactose-free options are available (soft mozzarella and even dessert, which I was pleasantly surprised by, given how difficult it is to find a restaurant with soft desserts). Extremely friendly and welcoming staff; special mention goes to Donatella's kindness and lovely smile. Highly recommended.

05/07/2026: After a four-hour drive home from Croatia, we stopped here – and it was absolutely worth it! This pizzeria was recommended to us, and we weren't disappointed. We ordered two pizzas and asked if we could have a small salad instead of the large one. That wasn't a problem at all. Overall, the value for money is excellent. The pizzas were delicious, the service was friendly, and everything was served quickly. A pizzeria we can wholeheartedly recommend!

03/05/2026: It's become a regular stop for us: we return every year and the quality is consistently top-notch. We've always eaten wonderfully, with carefully prepared and truly delicious dishes. The staff is another great asset: the waiters are super friendly, attentive, and always available. The overall experience has been more than positive every time. It's a place we're always happy to return to and we recommend it without hesitation!
