05/02/2026: Tokio is one of my all-time favorite sushi restaurants. I've been going there since I was about 15, and it's always a guaranteed success. The atmosphere is authentic, with the option of sitting at the counter, at a low Japanese-style table, or at a traditional table. The owner is always extremely kind and helpful. The nigiri are exceptional: incredibly fresh fish, generous portions, and top-quality, especially the white tuna (butterfish), which is hard to find elsewhere. The uramaki, wakame, and marinated Tokyo-style sashimi are also excellent. The plum sake offered at the end of the meal is truly beautiful. A small, family-run restaurant that holds its own against sushi restaurants in larger cities. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

02/01/2026: Friendly and professional staff. Formal location, beautifully set table, and the idea of ​​having company for the meal (the Christmas goose in this case) was a lovely one. The chef's "Welcome" was very welcome (photo), accompanied by two glasses of sparkling wine. Dinner then began with a bottle of white wine to enjoy throughout the evening and a seafood tasting appetizer consisting of three truly delicious dishes (photo). I liked the seafood first course (photo), but nothing special. The ravioli (photo) were not bad, but I was hoping for something more. The second courses were extraordinary: we opted for an octopus main course and a venison main course (photo). Both were delicious, both the meat and the fish, but especially the pairings with which the dishes were paired. Fabulous desserts, top-notch tiramisu, and the "arrivederci" (goodbye) was also greatly appreciated, consisting of three types of cookies served with a glass of Ramandolo (photo). All in all, we had a lovely evening and a satisfying dinner.

Simple yet delicious dishes, traditional Friulian cuisine complemented by high-quality grilled dishes, including unusual cuts. Grilled meats are a specialty, with a special mention for the picanha. Good wines by the glass. Highly recommended!

12/11/2025: Great pizza, the chef was hillarious and nice, singing italian hits while making our pizza😂 The view at the Patriarchal Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta also finishes off the vibe amazingly. Would recommend!

18/01/2026: Sometimes the best discoveries are made by chance. We were traveling to Gorizia and stopped at this trattoria, drawn by its location and the many reviews. It's definitely a place we'll be returning to. The owner is incredibly kind and always smiling, and explains the menu in detail. The ingredients are excellent and the food is excellent value.

But the difference is made by the staff: kind, professional, and always smiling, even during peak hours. We stopped by on a day when the world was at its peak, but we were quickly seated and served shortly thereafter. Well done, see you soon.

14/01/2026: Beautiful, welcoming place with professional staff. I took a star off the food only because of the one flaw: the venison tagliata and fillet were exquisite, but it's a shame they arrived lukewarm; otherwise, everything was perfect. I only mentioned this as a pointer to the owners, so they can consider ways to avoid these situations. Our compliments, we'll definitely be back!
