20/04/2026: A very nice hotel, great rooms, and excellent hosts. Be sure to reserve a table at the trattoria and enjoy the incredibly delicious menu. Excellent service.

16/04/2026: The food is excellent, with good-quality game, a great selection of grilled meats, and a good selection of first courses, all hand-made pasta. It's a shame about the location...a bit out of the way.

It is known for its excellent home-cooked cuisine with local specialties and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. In winter, it is a popular stop for skiers, and in summer, it is an ideal destination or stopover for hikers and nature lovers looking for a good meal and rest in the mountains. Worth a visit!👍👏🫶❤️

Inspired by the excellent reviews, my friend and I decided to give it a try, and we weren't disappointed! The location is welcoming and well-maintained. The owner, very friendly, was friendly and always ready to offer advice. We ate divinely. We'll definitely be back. The price was in line with the quality of the product. 5 well-deserved stars.

07/04/2026: A true gem in Friuli – hospitality that comes from the heart! After our Easter weekend, we visited Al Gnotul on Easter Monday and were absolutely delighted. You can immediately sense the passion that goes into the cooking: While the chef himself works his magic in the kitchen, his wife manages the service with incredible warmth. Although we don't speak Italian, communication was completely straightforward thanks to her great effort and the lovingly prepared menu – even with additional handwritten explanations in German! Choosing was easy, and every course was exquisite: The Cjarsons alla carnica and the Blecs al ragù di anatra were absolutely superb and authentic 😋. To top it all off, we were even served the espresso and grappa on the house – a wonderful gesture that underscores typical Friulian hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to our hosts for this lovely lunch. We felt very welcome!

02/05/2026: A quick and super tasty lunch break. The sandwiches were absolutely amazing, giant and filled with truly delicious vegetarian options. The Habibi with falafel was excellent! At the end of the meal, a welcome gift of apricot-filled brioche bread was given to all tables. Highly recommended.
