26/08/2025: The food was decent, not in line with the price. The chicken curry was very questionable... fettuccine with ragù, 40 grams of pasta with a flavor that, for my money, doesn't remind me of homemade ragù, but rather of a jarred one, but I'm definitely wrong. The flavorless meat was super salty and expensive, and on top of that, they even brought salt, which often isn't enough 😂.

14/07/2025: After being there two years ago and not being entirely happy due to the unprofessional staff, we decided to try again. The pizza, according to those who ate it hot and on time, was good, well-presented, and certainly not lacking in toppings. Mine, not only arrived quite late, but I had to ask twice because my companions were practically finished eating while mine still had to arrive, it was almost cold and hastily topped. Unfortunately, mistakes can happen, and I don't blame them for that. The staff, on the other hand, was quite lacking in attentiveness. Beer glasses weren't brought to our table despite repeated requests, and we had to drink water and beer from the same glass. There are worse things out there, but if I pay €2 for a cover charge, a €10 pizza, and €13 for a beer, I expect something better. PS: Asking for your plate (still full) to be cleared away a few minutes after the pizza was delivered (late) and saying, "Oh well, would you like to order dessert first so we can get ahead of ourselves?" is disrespectful. Too bad!

10/07/2025: I go to the double malt to drink a beer or two and eat something good from chicken to pork ribs, they have added new dishes... to try, the atmosphere is perfect both alone and in company (board games available)... sometimes they do karaoke and there should still be a pool table... Before or after the cinema or the gym ideal place

04/07/2025: Canossa, where time has not moved. Invited by a friend from Reggio to try the typical cuisine of the area, we were really enthusiastic! The restaurant has proudly remained in the 70s, the walls and furniture exude the history of the city. The menu is traditional Emilia, with lots of meat and accompanying sauces, boiled meat is clearly a must! The plating is not important, here the important thing is the authentic flavors and the abundant portions. The service is familiar, in the sense that you feel just like family and the waiting times are secondary. It is worth highlighting the waiter who serves you directly at the table with the cart of meats still on the fire and cut at the moment, which is something almost folkloristic and for which the price is worth it (which cannot be cheap, given the choice, the quality and the abundance, ed.). If you are in the Reggio area and want to try real Reggio cuisine, you definitely have to go to Canossa.

17/08/2025: All the dishes were good and well made… but the price was really too high… once upon a time you would travel miles to eat well in the mountains spending less… It wasn't like that… prices were really too high for 7 of us with 3 shared starters, 1 first course and a second course that I shared, dessert and house wine €40… no way!

14/08/2025: We went today for the first time, recommended by a friend we met in Fanano. The restaurant was beautiful. We ordered four starters: balsamic vinegar risotto, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, gnocchi with truffle, and two types of cappelletti, one stuffed with pumpkin and one stuffed with spinach. Everything was fantastic. For the main course, braised venison and sliced venison, cooked to perfection. Fruit and desserts were also available. Kudos to the staff, thank you.

If you want to relax after a long day with the person you love most in a quiet, clean environment frequented by people who love peace and quiet, then this is the place for you.
