24/05/2025: We spent four nights there during our Italian vacation and had a wonderful stay. The staff and service were outstanding and made our stay very pleasant. The restaurant is also highly recommended. The location is ideal for day trips to places like Modena and Parma, as well as for long hikes in the beautiful countryside. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit noisy, but that's due to the age of the beautiful and well-maintained farm. We would be happy to return.

13/05/2025: I wish I was able to rate it 0/5. The breakfast is TERRIBLE and not close to enough considering what we paid for this accommodation. The location is quite far from anything and the restaurant on site has a very limited menu. I would not recommend this to anyone.

02/03/2025: Really great fried pizza! Dry, soft and well-filled frying. Very good baked pizza, excellent quality raw materials. I can say that it is very similar to Neapolitan Pizza. Congratulations 👏🏽

21/05/2025: Gelateria in un locale pulito funzionale, banchi e sedute affrontate con parcheggio spalle entrando . Tanti gusti di frutta leggeri e altri più pieni. Vantaggio dei costi contenuti. Personale femminile al banco efficiente e paziente. Speciali torte gelato in esposizione nei frigo.

18/05/2025: Lots of variety for lactose intolerants. The gluten-free brioche with ice cream is also lactose-free. Highly recommended!

17/05/2025: We were with the family on Sunday for lunch. Cattini (Catein) never disappoints!!!! We have been coming here for over 20 years and it remains the best traditional restaurant in Reggio Emilia. Monica is always very kind and the dishes are amazing. The trolley of boiled and roasted meats is unsurpassed for choice and quality. The trolley of side dishes is also very well stocked and always present mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, their fantastic mustard, green and red sauce. Wide choice of desserts, all excellent and wines. A certainty!!! Well done

04/05/2025: C'est à l'occasion d'un dîner sans réservation que nos 4 convives et notre adorable Toutou de 5 kilos seront parfaitement accueillis en terrasse avec une table spécialement dressée pour nous puisque les chiens ne sont pas admis à l'intérieur. Service efficace tout en décontraction pour des mets savoureux aux quantités généreuses variant entre terre et mer. Quelques excellents crus notamment toscans pour accompagner ce repas sans faute qui se concluera avec des digestifs offerts. Je recommande chaleureusement cette adresse aux prix objectivement corrects.

20/04/2025: Locale veramente affascinante. Il cibo è ottimo. Buono il servizio. I prezzi un pò sopra la media, ma sono locali che non si frequentano quotidianamente. Unico neo è la strada che conduce al ristorante è bloccate nel versante di Carpineti a causa di una frana, ma è pessimamente segnata e spesso i clienti (come è capitato anche a me) arrivano a pochi metri dal parcheggio e poi sono costretti a riprendere la via allungandola di parecchi km. Indubbiamente i servizi pubblici e qualche dispettoso camminatore non facilitano la viabilità.

13/04/2025: Beautiful atmosphere from times gone by in a very welcoming lounge. From the outside a beautiful view and a terrace for the summer. I tasted excellent tagliolini with wild boar ragù and a slice of beef with grilled vegetables. The homemade tiramisu is delicious. All accompanied by a good glass of red. The managers and staff are very kind and professional. A beautiful day!

13/05/2025: Discovered by chance, very clean and well-kept environment, the staff is qualified. The pizzas are very good, thin and quite seasoned, I recommend the revised tiramisu with peaches in syrup. Top quality/price. Too bad not to have you near home.

25/04/2025: Very good and thin pizza, low prices. The dessert we chose (a homemade homemade trifle) was also very good. Quick service, but not very precise (a fork was missing). If the cost of the pizza is relatively low, the cover charge is expensive (which with the pizza does not include bread and/or breadsticks). Furthermore (could it have 'really' been a mistake?) after having paid a little more than we would have expected we went out and checked the receipt: our half liter bottle of water had been marked down like wine, at a cost of 5 euros.

03/05/2025: Ristorante Delle Franchine ..via Moglia 37 ....Reggiolo province of Reggio Emilia, opens at lunchtime and closes in the early hours of the afternoon ..and then reopens at 8.00pm ...this place is really nice and here you can find the real dishes of the Reggio Emilia tradition. .as well as beautiful cutting boards, homemade giardiniera, excellent meats and truly fabulous gnocchi, excellent ribs and an amazing pork cheek. All these dishes are accompanied by excellent wines, at the end there are also desserts... the one I loved the most... and the apple and ricotta cake for me and the super homemade dessert and a more than unique goodness. The cost of a nice lunch is on average ..40..50 euros. If you arrive here by car you will always find a place here because there are many parking spaces. I remind you that here we are immersed in the countryside, the area we are in is called Villanova di Reggiolo.
