Friday evening 9.30pm with 12 diners, all men.
To avoid clogging up the kitchen we decide to choose a maximum of 3 dishes per course, trying to reconcile tastes. Starters: Very good tuna meatballs, superb tartare cheesecake (highly recommended). First courses: Tonnarelli cheese and pepper, tagliatelle with meat sauce and Rameina. In all, delicious homemade fresh pasta. Second courses: Crusted pork and seared tuna. Both very good. Service: the waitress kindly brought us extra dishes for each course in such a way as to portion the dishes among everyone, in the dishes with broth she took care to divide 3 dishes into 12 different bowls and the second courses arrived at the table already divided into single portions even though we were fine with sharing and exchanging dishes between us. In an era where certain things seem to be taken for granted, this treatment must be underlined with a note of merit for the service received. I would have gladly paid a little more for all the crockery they had to bring us. Nice and comfortable environment, it's a shame we only have 2 rooms (perhaps a noisy table like ours could disturb the smaller tables next to it) but for being in the historic center the spaces are very large. Ultimately it seemed to me that the place is managed by only two people and the breadth and quality of the menu they manage to offer with such limited staff is remarkable. Total dinner for 12 for 11 starters, 12 first courses, 10 second courses, 6 cokes, 4 bottles of different red waters and 11 coffees, 480 euros, equal to 40 euros each. The cost is too low compared to the quality, friendliness and service received. Wide availability of Veg choices. GO NOW!

I could give an extra star to the dishes served to us, unfortunately there was an abundance of salt in the dishes, taking away their taste.
To be precise, I don't like salty foods, and for others it can be a strong point.
Overall, everything was appreciated
Good costs for being in the center, far from the crazy prices of the hometown... and therefore a... thank goodness.

The cuisine certainly deserves the best rating, even if the environment risked making me lower my rating a bit.
Finely prepared dishes, and cuisine with an excellent mix of tradition and innovation, where innovation does not simply mean making daring combinations.
From the appetizers to the dessert it was a constant succession of very successful combinations.
Excellent starter with tuna meatballs on courgette sauce, herb tortelli, swordfish cubes...
The service is also attentive and thoughtful.
It's a shame that the place is a bit simple and doesn't do justice to the quality offered.
Definitely affordable prices for a restaurant in the center that offers superior quality to the others we tried during a working week spent in Reggio Emilia

I tasted the cappelletti in broth and I liked them very much, accompanied with a glass of Ripasso... plenty. I had lunch alone and I felt at ease, discreet service and friendly staff. Perfect price, the cappelletti were plentiful and I paid 10 euros for them. Unfortunately the headache didn't make me drink the coffee which was with the mocha, a gem.

As far as catering is concerned, I have always asked myself some questions:
1) where can I find a restaurant where from the menu I actually understand how a dish is made?
2) where can I find a place that has high quality without being affected by rigid elitism?
3) where can I find attention and care for the customer, their health or food choices, where celiac, intolerant and veg people can find dishes designed for them or in any case find the field open to the possibility of asking for changes?
4) where do I find competence in service, extreme quality and creative flair with a balanced relationship between high quality and fair price?
Well the answer to ALL these questions is Cucine Clandestine.

Insomma, ho pranzato discretamente bene ma nulla di eccezionale, unica nota lieta la possibilità per chi è celiaco di poter scegliere nel menu qualsiasi portata e da queste parti non è roba da poco...mangiato delle tagliatelle al ragù che erano discretamente buone ....conto nella norma e personale gentile.
