I specifically sought out a place in that area, a truly unique establishment where you can feel the history, with dishes with intense flavors, simple and traditional but revisited in the best possible way. The staff was truly kind and knowledgeable... higher than average price but a fantastic experience.

05/07/2026: Truly, very good! After a few years away, we returned to this beautiful restaurant located in a charming and historic 19th-century former dairy farm. Inside, you'll find a rustic atmosphere, with strong references to the rural past, highlighted by terracotta floors, domed ceilings in the central hall, and large windows. The interior spaces are divided into several rooms, each with wooden tables set with classic table settings. At the heart of the culinary offering is the rediscovery of traditional Emilian flavors, reinterpreted with a modern sensibility. The cuisine is based on seasonality, a short supply chain, and a zero-mile philosophy. (Bonus) We tasted our best beef tartare (diced croutons, a drop of lemon balm, traditional Reggiano DOP balsamic vinegar, sweet browned Cervia salt), a selection of Badessa cured meats (accompanied by yeast-free fried gnocchi, Violino "Cushot" Reggiana sheep ham, 35/40-month reserve prosciutto, thinly sliced, highly matured coppa, and ancient natural salami), half a pacchero pasta made with Reggiano wheat, bronze-drawn by us (sautéed with a white sauce, rabbit ragù, and a sweet and sour melting shallot), citrus-flavored guinea fowl leg (glazed with Marolese acacia honey and a juniper reduction), a sardine-based interpretation of veal with tuna sauce (with its classic sauce, seasonal vegetarian cream, BadessaLAB giardiniera, and legal herbs), roasted potatoes with their skins on, and barley coffee tiramisu (whipped mascarpone cheese). with our ladyfingers soaked in a cocoa and barley coffee glaze), Zuppa Inglese (our homemade ladyfingers, yellow and chocolate cream, liqueur syrup, and fruity fried black cherry jam), and panna cotta with a fior di latte effect. All the dishes we chose were truly delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The service was courteous and fast, and the quality/price ratio was truly excellent. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

09/08/2026: I had lunch with a coworker because I'd heard good things about it. I must say it was very good, considering the pasta is homemade. The atmosphere was quiet, if a little dated, and the owner was very kind. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with some of the menu items. The first course was good, but the second course less so. We opted for a Milanese cutlet, as the menu doesn't offer a wide selection (and I have no complaints about that; in fact, it's better to have a few good dishes than many mediocre ones), but as we'd been told, it was made with chicken. Call it a chicken cutlet, then! We didn't order a side dish and finished with a coffee. We essentially ordered the same menu for two: two first courses, two second courses, two coffees, and a bottle of water that we split. When it came time to pay the bill, we were told we'd each ordered a full menu (even though we didn't order a side dish) for €17.50. I'm sorry to say I didn't appreciate the gesture at all, especially since the room wasn't at all full, so I can't imagine there was a mistake given the confusion surrounding a potentially large number of tables to serve. ( If we were to specify everything, then the full menu should have included two bottles of water, not one.) Also, because the owner himself, who took our order, wrote the bill for us. I don't know if I'll return, but I would have appreciated it more if he had charged us for what we ordered.

06/08/2026: As tourists passing through the area, we stopped here for lunch. We received an exceptional welcome, and what's more, they spoke French! The menu is really inexpensive for the incredible quality of the homemade food, with generous portions! Certainly one of the best value-for-money experiences I've ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We also ordered draft wine, which was very good and chilled; it was great. I recommend it 1000%; if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely make a detour to eat here again. It's a shame this restaurant is so far from our home.

02/07/2026: What a wonderful find this place in Casalgrande. We ate divinely and were truly impressed by the attention to detail. The pizzas were excellent, with flavorful ingredients and perfectly cooked. We also particularly enjoyed the desserts, carefully crafted and delicious, impeccably served. The millefeuille with gelato was delicious. I highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for excellent cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back soon.

16/12/2025: More of a boutique than a grocery store, this place offers high-quality products, both local and regional, as well as from other regions. It's a pleasure to wander between the two large tables, browsing the windows and shelves. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
