18/04/2026: The staff is friendly and polite, helpful with customers. The prices are exorbitant, especially considering the quantity served (for example, two dumplings for €16, and a Florentine steak for €63). The food was too much. Even if the intention was good, it was hard to finish. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, although not comparable to the restaurant in Trentino.

02/04/2026: Courteous staff, clean and tidy environment, relaxing atmosphere, well-prepared traditional food with excellent ingredients, the homemade bread was appreciated, everything was very well-prepared! Nice little cellar where you can taste the amari and/or grappa. The price is a little above average, but the experience makes up for it.

The atmosphere evokes memories of osterias—but classy ones—the service, cuisine, and hospitality are those of a restaurant that knows its stuff. The wine list is splendid—an interesting volume—presented by a skilled and attentive sommelier. The cuisine? Superlative. We'll be back.

01/05/2026: The service was truly excellent. The food was lovely, the square was lovely, and we ate in the sun. But I didn't really appreciate the second serving of first courses... I didn't find the ingredients well combined, a little banal, I don't know. I wasn't satisfied.

30/04/2026: A restaurant with an interesting selection of vegan dishes that doesn't compromise on flavor. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is helpful even during the busiest times. The prices are typical for vegan restaurants. Order the spelt or rice to fill you up properly.

16/05/2026: Super place, amazing desserts that leave you wanting more. The first and second courses are too much in my opinion. In my opinion, simplifying the flavors is the best way to get the most out of them. It's still a good restaurant, though.

16/05/2026: Wow! We had an amazing dining experience here. Everything was perfect - from the outstanding service and elegant atmosphere with white tablecloths to the precise execution. We ordered the lamb chop with artichoke and the venison dish; both were superb. Even the complimentary bread arrived fresh and warm straight from the oven, which was a delightful start. To accompany the meal, we had a fantastic dry Lambrusco and loved it so much that we bought a bottle to take home (a local specialty!). Although we were too full for dessert, our waiter kindly brought us fresh strawberries so we could end on a sweet note. A truly wonderful restaurant - highly recommended!

15/03/2026: Emilia's first Viking pub, a very characteristic venue. The two owners are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They serve excellent beers, of various types, and cider, as well as excellent food, not just tasty sandwiches. A must-visit even for those who aren't a regular at this type of venue. The venue is very welcoming, set in a splendid location at the foot of Rossena Castle, with views of Canossa Castle and the splendid valleys and lands of Matilda.

10/05/2026: Coming from Vicenza and Verona to Reggio Emilia, especially to enjoy the Francesco Guccini exhibition, we had to cap off the day with a worthy lunch break. Guided by the reviews, you might stumble upon Terme del Chilesterole by chance, because even from the outside, this place doesn't go unnoticed!!! Once you enter, you're immersed in the pleasures of good food. The menu options are truly heavenly. The selection is wide and original, while remaining faithful to Emilian traditions, yet designed to please the palate, the eye, and the imagination, at a fair price. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. The owner embodies the true spirit of the place, because with discretion and a lighthearted spirit, he conveys the essential ingredients for a joyful experience.

08/05/2026: The place was very welcoming from the moment we walked in. The owner was very helpful even though we hadn't booked. The food was truly excellent, and the wines were excellent. The waitress, Sara, was very kind, professional, and even friendly. The price was reasonable for what we ate. I recommend it for anyone who wants to make a good impression, especially couples.

When we've asked for a recommendation, we've always been very satisfied. The restaurant offers a quiet and elegant atmosphere. The welcome is always professional and attentive.
