05/11/2025: This is a truly lovely restaurant not to be missed. The people running it clearly enjoy it, and they know how to convey that joy to their customers. Because the dishes are small and reasonably priced, you can choose from a variety of delicious combinations without breaking the bank. The wine selection is enormous, and you get excellent help choosing very affordable bottles. We had a wonderful time!

The cuisine isn't bar-style, but rather excellent restaurant-style; the food is truly delicious. A wide selection of sweet and savory options for breakfast.
The wine cellar is excellent, offering a wide selection of important labels.
The staff is young, punctual, and always smiling.
05/04/2026: Stopped by early on a Sunday morning, tried the breakfast service, and found quality, courtesy, and attention to even the occasional passerby. Well done, you deserve all my compliments!

18/05/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us while we were passing through Castelnovo ne Monti. The atmosphere was quiet (until two guys at one table listened to their nephew's entire piano recital on their phones at high volume 🤭). We ordered three side dishes, a main course, and a bottle of water, and we paid a lot for what we ate. It's a shame we found out too late that one of the side dishes was double-billed and that the cover charge was exorbitant! I was disappointed with this experience, because overall, what I ate was good.
17/05/2026: I had lunch here and had a truly positive experience. The restaurant is well-kept, with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere and professional yet friendly service.
The quality of the dishes is immediately apparent: fresh ingredients, well-balanced flavors. The menu is also very interesting, showcasing traditional dishes.
The wine list is excellent, well-stocked and consistent with the cuisine.
A restaurant that stands out in the Castelnovo ne' Monti area and I recommend it both for a break from the hustle and bustle and for more special occasions. It's definitely a place I'd return to.

31/03/2026: We had lunch at the inn and I must say we had a great time.
The place is beautiful, with a very suggestive summer setting (a beautiful view of the Reggio Emilia Apennines) and a view of the Bismantova stone.
We were welcomed with kindness and professionalism.
The presence of our dog, Blacky, was not a problem.
Traditional cuisine, but also something special.
Very good wines.
The prices are excellent considering the high quality.
We returned a second time, remembering the good impression we had the first time.
Everything confirmed, a beautiful place, where you feel comfortable (I recommend it).
No one should be offended (it's where we stayed best in the area).

Everyone was extremely satisfied with the welcome, the cuisine, and the friendliness of both the owner, Marzia, and the service from the young and smiling Giulia.
And what can I say about the dishes cooked by Sonia and Rachida...🔝!!!

23/08/2025: We ordered pizzas to go, a mix of pizzas by the slice for a birthday. Delicious, crispy yet soft and incredibly flavorful! Next time, we'll try the traditional round ones, which look delicious!

06/06/2026: Impeccable, fast service with attentive customer service. They make you feel like you're at a friend's house. It's a great place to spend a pleasant evening accompanied by good food that pleases every palate, thanks to the wide variety on the menu. If I really had to find a flaw, I'd say the kindness of the owners and staff is addictive and makes you want to return or never leave. Personally, I love the log, but also the sandwiches, the delicious tortelli...the meat is amazing, in short, everything is truly delicious... I recommend trying everything and finishing with dessert to round off a wonderful dinner...you won't regret it, you'll have a wonderful evening...
01/06/2026: I had a pleasant stay at the London Café and was very satisfied with the experience. The property enjoys a truly pleasant location, with the pine forest at its back, creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, while the service was distinguished by its professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness to guests. From a culinary perspective, I particularly enjoyed the gnocco fritto, tigelle, and stuffed pizza, all carefully prepared and very tasty.
A welcoming place where you eat well and feel welcome. Recommended for those seeking good food, tranquility, and impeccable service.

16/11/2025: I was reading reviews, but I'm surprised they say there are very few courses. Honestly, after the appetizers, I couldn't stand it anymore.
The dishes were very good, and each course was a pleasant surprise.
The staff was also very friendly and knew how to make you feel at ease.

06/09/2025: I go there once a year because we have a house in the area. They are nice, polite and the atmosphere is spectacular when they go out for an aperitif. Because it's in the middle of the hills.

I came with some friends, we ordered, and after an hour the food still hadn't arrived! We've noticed that this happens every time we come, not occasionally, even though there aren't many people.
I don't recommend it.

The owner and staff are very friendly.
We were invited to a birthday party, and we had gnocco fritto and cured meats, green and potato tortelli, and roast pork and baked potatoes.
Everything was delicious, with quick and attentive service from the staff.
