02/07/2025: Great restaurant, some remarkable dishes. Excellent quality-price ratio, for an osteria the dishes lack a bit of quantity. The desserts are explained too quickly. Sometimes photos would be useful to understand the dishes. Highly recommended. Quiet place just a stone's throw from the city and the traffic. I didn't understand the background music... But that's my limit.

09/07/2025: I went to Pagani for just one day, and this was the closest pizzeria, since the one a few meters away was closed. I wasn't disappointed. Even though it was my first time there, I really appreciated the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with various simple but effective decorations. The warm lighting also helped create a tranquil atmosphere. As for the food, I enjoyed the Margherita pizza (having to leave the next day, I was on the safe side) and the option of having lactose-free mozzarella, as I'm lactose intolerant. The wait was very short, and the appetizer arrived almost immediately. It's a shame I didn't get to try the truffle; I plan to next time :)

03/05/2025: Ristorante Delle Franchine ..via Moglia 37 ....Reggiolo province of Reggio Emilia, opens at lunchtime and closes in the early hours of the afternoon ..and then reopens at 8.00pm ...this place is really nice and here you can find the real dishes of the Reggio Emilia tradition. .as well as beautiful cutting boards, homemade giardiniera, excellent meats and truly fabulous gnocchi, excellent ribs and an amazing pork cheek. All these dishes are accompanied by excellent wines, at the end there are also desserts... the one I loved the most... and the apple and ricotta cake for me and the super homemade dessert and a more than unique goodness. The cost of a nice lunch is on average ..40..50 euros. If you arrive here by car you will always find a place here because there are many parking spaces. I remind you that here we are immersed in the countryside, the area we are in is called Villanova di Reggiolo.

04/07/2025: Canossa, where time has not moved. Invited by a friend from Reggio to try the typical cuisine of the area, we were really enthusiastic! The restaurant has proudly remained in the 70s, the walls and furniture exude the history of the city. The menu is traditional Emilia, with lots of meat and accompanying sauces, boiled meat is clearly a must! The plating is not important, here the important thing is the authentic flavors and the abundant portions. The service is familiar, in the sense that you feel just like family and the waiting times are secondary. It is worth highlighting the waiter who serves you directly at the table with the cart of meats still on the fire and cut at the moment, which is something almost folkloristic and for which the price is worth it (which cannot be cheap, given the choice, the quality and the abundance, ed.). If you are in the Reggio area and want to try real Reggio cuisine, you definitely have to go to Canossa.
