23/11/2024: Ritornare in questo bel forte medievale dopo il cambio di gestione mi ha lasciato piacevolmente sorpreso. Innanzitutto uno stupefacente restauro degli ambienti ed una nuova organizzazione degli ambienti. E soprattutto il cibo, protagoniste sono le eccellenze locali come già in precedenza, ma ancora più nobilitate e ricercate. Gli affettati (mortadella e culaccia sopra tutti) basterebbero a saziare gli appetiti più esigenti. Poi se siete anche golosi non perdetevi i plin d'anatra arrosto. Vogliamo poi parlare della carne o dei dolci..? Eccellente!

Da segnalare Cappasanta con broccoli sala olà Dea e e tartufo nero: equilibrata e indimenticabile Erbazzome: magistrale Midollo tonnato e tartare con caviale: esperienza fantastica Ganassini: delicatissimi Carrello dei formaggi; super, da segnalare la preparazione della maitre a fromage Piccola pasticceria molto buona Cantina notevole Lo chef sa cogliere l essenza e propone piatti che esaltano ingredienti e ricette della tradizione emiliana, rivisitati con freschezza di idee dalla grande creatività. The place is full of junk that may appeal to some, but not to me. The family and retro atmosphere is reconstructed in another way. I only give two stars, except for the very kind waitresses and waitresses, certainly not the owner I suppose at the cash register who should lower the prices, lower the level of ambition of the menu because it is too pretentious, and rid the place of dust grabbers. Ah, I forgot the bathrooms: there was no hot water, even Eastern European countries don't use folding screens anymore, and where is the bathroom for disabled people? Where is the entrance for disabled people? Never again

04/12/2024: Business lunch with a group of 15 people. Both dishes I chose (pasta and beans and sliced ​​beef) were excellent. The lemon sorbet and chocolates served at the end of lunch were also very good. I certainly recommend it.

27/11/2024: At dinner with friends on a Friday night after many years, I must admit that the calzone I chose was excellent. I can't say the same about the service and the bill. For the service we had to ask for drinks several times; furthermore, if a product like wine is on tap, it would be right to know. Regarding the bill, it was shocking to say the least: two glasses with a small streak (undercooked but discreet) and half a liter of prosecco (on tap), a medium beer, a pizza and two calzones (I repeat the goodness but none of them were present fine ingredients such as mussels, prawns, salmon, porcini mushrooms or truffles, a dessert (Nutella with pizza matchsticks) and 2/3 coffees, for a total of €33 per person! I understand the increases but I won't set foot there again

23/11/2024: Today we had lunch but I don't discuss the price but I would have a lot to say about the abundance, about the quality also the only positive note was the welcome otherwise the place is very dated and messy I certainly wouldn't recommend it to my friends.
