27/09/2025: Extremely hungry after a disastrous summer excursion to Martignano, we almost force ourselves to stop at the first osteria on the way, encouraged by the reviews. From the outside, we're not entirely convinced, but the interior is honest and welcoming; they seat us with a smile (we're off to a good start). The menu is displayed on a chalkboard and offers a good osteria-style selection of classics and Roman dishes. Some people add a first course, while I focus on a meat-based second course (a mixed grill) and a double side of sautéed potatoes and vegetables, washed down with Claudia water, which is locally sourced. The dishes arrive promptly, the service reserved but attentive, the dishes (based on the ones I've tried) are balanced and flavorful, each piece of meat perfectly cooked and the potatoes perfectly cooked. Finally, a satisfying experience on a day where everything went wrong due to the local disorganization... if only there were a hundred osterias!

17/11/2025: Now regulars, we know that at Polis we can find seafood, but also meat, because they're excellent too. They're very refined and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the prices are all in the mid-range range. The service is excellent, with the staff immediately putting you at ease and trying to give you the best experience. Perhaps the only complaint—and it's not a criticism, more of a personal opinion—is the limited variety of dishes. There aren't many, and once you've come those three or four times, let's say you're hoping for a different flavor, so I'd opt for adding a few new dishes.

08/11/2025: The atmosphere is simple, yet pleasant and captivating. Vegetarian and vegan cuisine, a lovely combination of tasty and generous dishes. The wines are also excellent. The owners are friendly and courteous. Must try!

06/11/2025: There were two of us, and we had a truly wonderful time! The two first courses we tried from the autumn menu were exquisite and rich in flavor. The desserts were also delicious. A restaurant we highly recommend.

30/10/2025: Excellent location and ample parking, very good and well-topped pizzas, spectacular and high-quality meats cooked in a wood-fired oven, with an aroma and flavor I'd long forgotten. Definitely worth a visit.

29/11/2025: Top!!! The octopus and cod were amazing!!! I then took home a dozen different bottles at great prices. The table service was really good... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

08/12/2025: We went on a Friday night for a birthday and were treated really badly. The owner was quite rude. We had a large table, and rightly so for a birthday, it was getting messy. Annoyed, rude, they couldn't wait to send us away, and the food was decent. No point arguing, avoid.

17/10/2025: The pizza has a thick crust, but it's larger than average and barely fits in the box. Excellent toppings. Very competitive prices. The wait times are minimal, and the service is welcoming and courteous. The pizza menu is endless, with four different doughs, including Pinsa. It sounds like an ad, but it's the truth. The only downside is that the pizzeria is very small and there's limited parking. Otherwise, it could become our go-to pizzeria.

25/10/2025: I've never reviewed a pizza before, but every pizza at this place deserves a separate review. The flavors are unconventional and the pairings are gourmet, a sensory experience. The pizzeria is run by the ancient Casalobo family, renowned for their eccentricity, but the service and atmosphere are excellent. They're all worth trying!

06/11/2025: I got my birthday cake from this pastry shop. I'd say it was a perfect choice because it completely satisfied my tastes. Highly recommended!!

02/11/2025: Expensive, but not exceptional quality. Very Neapolitan in flavor, with liqueur everywhere, including the Sicilian ricotta pastries. Honestly, I've never come across cannoli with liqueur, especially in Sicily. If you "revisit" pastries, it should be declared, because then you go, spend a lot of money, and find nothing tasty. I won't be going back.

17/11/2025: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! Dinner with a friend, a cold place, we had to wear jackets, it must have been 15 degrees. Crazy price, the two of us spent 96.50 euros!!!!! We ate some chizze for an appetizer, a plate of tortelli each (12 tortelli), a single basket for two people with 6 pieces of fried gnocco and 4 tigelle, a mini platter of cold cuts for two people, a bottle of Lambrusco, a plastic bottle of water, and 2 terrible desserts... Obviously plastic plates and paper napkins. NINETY-SIX EUROS AND FIFTY CENTS!!!!!!!!!!! An armed robbery!!!!!! Never again!!!!!!! Stay away from this "social center" Absurd

10/11/2025: A Perfect Evening: Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ​The other evening, my friends and I had the pleasure of trying the Truffle Evening Tasting Menu at the Prater Restaurant in Sant'Ilario d'Enza, and the experience was absolutely memorable. ​An extraordinary journey of flavors: ​The menu was a true ode to this precious mushroom, presented with creativity and respect for the raw ingredients. The dishes I photographed (and loved!) included: ​A white truffle risotto, creamy and impeccably creamed, in which the flavors of the rice and truffle balanced perfectly. ​A second course, the tender pork cheek on polenta, enhanced by a rich sauce and the intense aroma of fresh black truffle. A delicious appetizer, stuffed onions with a delicate fondue and additional truffle shavings, was an excellent start to the dinner. Service and Ambience: The professionalism and courtesy of the staff pervaded the entire evening, making us feel pampered. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for a special dinner with friends. I highly recommend all lovers of good food, and especially truffles, not to miss these themed evenings organized by Ristorante Prater. A top-notch gastronomic experience with excellent value. We will definitely be back to try the à la carte menu!
