11/05/2025: Business lunch at this nearby café, a historic dealership in Bologna, now a multi-brand business. Conversation is encouraged at the table, without having tables too close together or having to raise your voices too loudly. Adequate business lunch offering. Fair prices. Portions are adequate, except for the vegetables served alongside the main courses: for those, you have to order a separate portion, otherwise it's just a "taste."

03/10/2025: A very convenient location right on Via degli Dei; the hospitality is truly appreciated, the dinner excellent, the room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. It even has a balcony. The price is more than reasonable. It's nice to find such a base in a small town.

03/10/2025: Right on the Via degli Dei, very hospitable, generous and delicious dinner, good and equally generous breakfast. There are even balconies! Comfortable rooms with everything you could need! An excellent choice.

06/10/2025: It's a bar right in the city center that's becoming very popular among young people. A wide selection of wines, beers, and cocktails is convenient due to its central location, right behind the Mercato delle Erbe. They also offer good-quality aperitivo. Coming here is a great experience, with basic service, but the guarantee is a good drink. Among the crowds of bars, this is a sure thing.

09/09/2025: Unbelievable, the guys are crazy accommodating. Atmosphere is loose without mess. 10/10, if you're in mercato dell'erba go there.

05/04/2025: Non sono rimasta particolarmente impressionata: certo le aspettative sono alte quando in cucina c'è un chef molto noto. Il palazzo è bellissimo ed elegante, in posizione molto centrale. Cibo di tradizione bolognese, come è giusto con ospiti anche stranieri, ma per il mio giudizio molto lontano dalla perfezione (nelle case bolognesi in generale si mangia meglio di così). Servizio attento, ma non indimenticabile. Aperitivo servito in piedi con servizio un po' frettoloso. Il palazzo è bellissimo, meriterebbe più attenzione alla qualità dei cibi e all'attenzione per gli ospiti.

12/08/2025: The only positive note was the price. Tagliatelle with ragù was left completely on the plate because it had no flavor. The venison steak was passable but badly cut. The cheese "with fresh truffle" was actually truffle preserved in oil and quite acidic. Lastly, when we came in to ask for a table, it felt like we'd done them a disservice. Not recommended.

10/08/2025: “An hour and a half of our lives that will never come back.” We arrive at noon and ask if there's room for two. The answer: “No, come back at 1:30.” We trust them. An hour and a half of waiting, empty bellies and full confidence. At 1:30, right on time, we return. The waitress comes out and tells us we can't, it's full. The end. No apologies, no explanations, just the pleasure of having wasted our time and appetite. If you like playing Russian roulette with your lunch, this is the place. If you really want to eat… better look elsewhere, right away.

09/09/2025: Nothing special, but overpriced! Paccheri with shrimp (shrimp cut into tiny pieces, 3 or 4 Argentine shrimp inside, tomato and ricotta sauce). Not even a bit of parsley on top. The flavor is okay, but not worth it for the price. Fried calamari with chicory on the side (a contrast between fried and boiled vegetables) doesn't sound very good to me. Sponge cake with lemon cream: okay. Will I be back??? No!

19/07/2025: A place for wine lovers. The owner is an expert in the field and quite friendly. The food is generally quite ordinary, although served with a certain arrogance, which obviously means the price isn't cheap. The pasta is undercooked, the vegetables are a bit bland, and the fish is also. Occasionally, there's a clever twist, but you need luck. On the plus side, the menu is easily adaptable to specific customer needs. The expertise in spirits is as good as the wine. In short: if you're going to eat to drink well...okay. Otherwise, forget it!

25/09/2025: We stopped for lunch and had three salads, all very good and rich in dressing. Highly recommended!

23/09/2025: Highly recommended!! Excellent seafood, a nice, casual atmosphere, plastic-free, and welcoming, friendly staff. Oh, and the prices are fair, which doesn't hurt. Needless to say, I've been coming back for years, because it's truly worth it!

04/10/2025: Outstanding vegetable rice, full of seasoning, delicious, cheap and plentiful and it arrives hot even far from the restaurant.

05/10/2025: The crescentine with the cured meats was delicious. The cotoletta alla bolognese was something I'd never seen or tasted before. Excellent, rich, and well-made. The attached photo isn't clear enough to convey its immense size. The homemade dessert was also superb. The service staff were excellent.

08/10/2025: We had a great evening, the food was good, the service was friendly, especially the sommelier was very courteous and informative. We had a great Chardonnay from Tuscany. I've read the comments about the service being cold or stiff but I cannot confirm that based on my own experience. The food quality was good, maybe not exceptional but still on a high level. If you want to find the hair in the soup, then you could argue that you can get the same value for less elsewhere. I recommend visiting the place.

03/08/2025: Expensive, but it was nice to try a new kind of Sake. Everything was fresh and delicious, highly recommend this place, though its a little hard to find.

03/04/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but the real highlights were Maria Rita and Claudio, whose friendliness and hospitality perfectly embodied Italian warmth. The drinks and food were absolutely delightful, and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. If you’re ever in the area, this is a spot you simply must visit! Abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso ed è stata una meravigliosa sorpresa. L’atmosfera era calda e accogliente, ma i veri protagonisti sono stati Maria Rita e Claudio, la cui gentilezza e ospitalità rappresentano alla perfezione il calore italiano. Le bevande e il cibo erano assolutamente deliziosi, e li abbiamo gustati con grande piacere. Se vi trovate in zona, questo è un posto che dovete assolutamente visitare!

23/08/2025: We went there on a Friday for lunch and ate the set menu of a first or second course plus side dish. The prices were fair and the food was average (nothing particularly outstanding or particularly recommendable). Perhaps it's better to order the daily specials, which we found to be more interesting. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace.

13/10/2025: It feels like walking into a bar with people playing cards...but that's the beauty of this trattoria!!! The portions are generous and the food is delicious. Excellent service and the bill too!! It's definitely worth it!!!
