Authentic little café. We drank cappuccino, espresso and orange juice and tried the pistachio crossaint, all for a really fair price. The food quality seemed average, the coffee was good. Our stay was pleasant and we will come here again. Its also close to the main station, which made it the perfect place to eat after hopping off the nightjet.

Authentic bar. Fair prices. Typical Italian atmosphere with superb cappuccino. Better than any hotel breakfast, especially since they also offer fruit and sandwiches. Very attentive service.

We lived nearby and stopped in for breakfast. The sandwiches were okay, the coffee was delicious (a shot of water was included). The cafe is quite cozy; lots of locals hang out there. If you need a quick bite in the morning, it's perfect.

If you're near Bologna train station, Bar Kicco is a must-see. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. They have an excellent selection of beers and appetizers, perfect for a quick but quality aperitivo. If you miss your train or are running late, it's definitely the perfect place to wait without stress 😄 Highly recommended!

I am a worker who lives in the Veneto region and due to the specific nature of my profession I often find myself in Bologna, a very expensive city, but at the Kicco bar at Sandy and Antonio I find what I like for breakfast and lunch with a small kitchen with sandwiches and various tigelle, with a variety of vegetables and greens, some first courses and second courses all rigorously prepared in the morning to finish off a variety of Italian wines and coffees/liqueurs etc etc. all very good. The only flaw, in the evening it closes at 7pm. But the guys Antonio and Sandy manage everything themselves. The quality/price ratio is exceptional. I recommend it

10/05/2026: Excellent place, I highly recommend it to anyone in the area. We were nearby as market exhibitors, and unfortunately we were late arriving after 10 pm, but they still welcomed us and served us very quickly, and I'm very grateful for that. I don't understand the (few) negative reviews about the quality and timing of the service; we found everything perfect and excellent, and the bill was very reasonable—in fact, I'd even say below expectations. And they even catered to celiacs who require gluten-free options! It's not easy to find places that serve gluten-free first courses like tortellini. Congratulations! If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back.
