17/05/2026: Very kind staff, excellent dishes!

05/05/2026: A shadow of what was once the Biagi Restaurant in Casalecchio, which I was fortunate enough to frequent as a young man. A place in line with the current average of restaurants in Bologna: adequate dishes, a lot of show, a caricatured Bolognese style, lacking the substance and quality that set it apart from the rest. Sagging and uncomfortable chairs, dynamic and efficient service. The dishes, some successful (tortellini), others less so (cotoletta), and the gelato not even a distant relative of the three flavors (cream, chocolate, and custard) that we enjoyed years ago in Casalecchio, which became five (with strawberry and lemon) in the summer. If it weren't for that name and that history, expectations would have been different. Price was normal.
