30/11/2024: The Quartino unfortunately falls short of expectations, the staff is very kind and attentive, it's a shame for the kitchen which served dishes that were "over" cooked... it's a shame because the second course we took, namely Mora Romagnola sausages and onion, was truly delicious. I must say that they were kind to remove the "over" cooked vegetable dish from the bill (I don't attach photos, because I don't think it's useful to excessively highlight the errors). I hope this review can be useful especially to managers.

17/12/2024: Historic macrobiotic restaurant in Bologna which changed location a few years ago. I didn't know it but I was intrigued by the location and proposals offered. Largely satisfied. My daughter was delighted with an exquisite fish dish presented in a truly elegant and refined way... I just enjoyed the rich, varied and quality vegetarian mix. The staff also gave us the opportunity to blow out the candle. Thank you We will try to return The bright, not large and informal environment makes you feel like you are in a large community, without the hassle of proximity but with the pleasure of being among different people with the desire to experiment with a slightly different style of eating that...maybe... .it could become everyday life..too much banging....I would like their chefs at home

Il locale, sebbene piccolo, è estremamente accogliente e crea un'atmosfera perfetta per una cena piacevole. La varietà del menù è davvero notevole e riesce a soddisfare tutti i gusti, dai più tradizionali ai più audaci. Personalmente, non sono un grande amante della pizza alta in teglia, ma devo ammettere che la pizza di Coco's è davvero speciale. È leggera e saporita, e ogni morso è un vero piacere, senza mai risultare pesante. Complimenti sinceri a tutto lo staff per l'ottimo lavoro e per l'attenzione ai dettagli. Se siete in cerca di un'esperienza culinaria memorabile, Coco's è il posto giusto. Non vedo l'ora di tornare e provare nuove delizie!

16/12/2024: The girl who welcomed and served us was infinitely sweet. A slightly limited menu, with little choice which in my opinion could be expanded... for example by adding cheeses as appetizers or in sauces. Speaking of what we ate, I can't say anything other than that it was all really delicious. Nice generous portions, highly appreciated by an eater like me, prices in line. Very pleasant house wine, which is not to be taken for granted. I would happily return and I hope there will be the opportunity. Well done! 👏🏼

31/12/2024: After wandering around Bologna for about an hour without proper reservations we stumbled upon Hostaria San Vincenzi and managed to snag a table just as they were preparing to open. (Yes, we were dining on our very uncivilized American schedule). Giorgio was kind enough to recommend a bottle of Prosecco and he delivered a plate piled high with various meats and some of the best mix of fresh focaccia and other breads that I’ve had in Italy. This was the magnificent intro to an amazing primi de pasta course. I ordered a ragu that was freshly prepared that day. It was flavorful and delicious. But when I got a taste of the tortelloni in cheese cream (not to be confused with alfredo sauce) I am not exaggerating when I say that the explosion of flavors and textures in my mouth brought tears to my eyes. The second course of beef in tuna sauce was a bit quirky, but it actually worked incredibly well. We also had grilled veggies that were prepared to perfection. We ended this amazing meal with Amaro shots. I highly recommend this establishment with attentive service, a family friendly environment and very reasonable prices! Bravo!

08/12/2024: A place that has stood still in time, as you enter the staff welcomes you with a warm smile, they are fast and professional. The pizza is good and well leavened with the right toppings accompanied by a good beer. Being an older building, the smells from the kitchen get stuck in your clothes.

03/12/2024: I don't give 5 stars only because I have to return to taste other dishes from this restaurant discovered by chance on my way back from Lake Maggiore. The grilled duck is worth a trip, the mixed grill was really excellent. The quality of cooking of these meats was a real surprise. We also tasted a platter and a sauce with Luganega and didn't find a flaw. Value for money 9.

29/11/2024: Great experience! Passing through, returning home after a long business trip, we booked blindly, based only on the average rating and reading the negative reviews of the places in the area....we were more than lucky! The restaurant is located just outside the center of Modena, it is almost invisible from the outside, also thanks to the sign hidden by a plant. A table was reserved for us in an uncomfortable environment which certainly appears to be outdoors in summer, given the drafts that could be felt coming from the thin curtain panels; the rest of the structure instead seemed well-kept, warm and welcoming. The service is courteous, precise and fast. The owner however, during the evening conveyed to us his professionalism and passion for cooking. We ordered two types of appetizer, the platter with fried gnocco and cured meats and the Luganega sauce, and we appreciated both: the light and dry gnocco was excellent! Then we tried two second courses, mixed grill and grilled duck breast. We were thrilled, there's little else to say! Exquisite meat, tender as butter, juicy, tasty, expertly cooked: I haven't eaten anything this good for years. To accompany everything, a good bottle of red wine. To finish, a homemade tart with black cherry jam which we paired with an excellent ratafià. Bill proportionate to the quality of the food, but when you eat so well every euro is well invested!
